Here is an inquiry some of you may want to respond to. I told the person to come here for the answers:

To whom it may concern: What about the people who temporarily died and came back?....... ,from Hell?  Theres been a good number("23 minutes in Hell","A Divine Revelation of Hell,"The recollection of Hagen!,"Three men who went to Hell." ...to name a few) Why would they lie and advocate Christ ?  The scriptures don't diminish with in depth reading. What about the lake of fire ,total darkness and the pits?  Theres none of these on earth!   About the Bible ,the Catholics have taken from and added to the Bible. What about the non-catholic bible(like the King James version)?  Theres plenty of passages in the Bible that plainly talk about Hell as a place(not on earth)of eternal torment. Rev 20:10,14-15 ,21:8 ,14:11 and 20:15................John 1:3,Matt 25:41.............. The Bible even mentions the people who will get free priority admission into Hell.....! Cor 6:9-10. If there is not a Hell,as in a terrible place of torment, and lakes of fire ,like the Bible mentions, then the trip that Christ made to earth was in vain?   What did he save us(people who have repented and are born again)from?  Why did he allow himself to be crucified? There is a Hell for those who die in sins.

Why did he allow himself to be crucified? For the unGodly! As were all of us at one time.

Actually, Jesus died in sins, our sins.

Jesus died so that we could live, He saved us from death.

(1Cor. 6:9-10) Says that "the UNRIGHTEOUS shall not inherit the kingdom of God".

This is true, the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God because God will make all of the unrighteous, righteous.

(Rom. 3:10) says, "There is NONE RIGHTEOUS, NO NOT ONE".

If this is true no one will be in the kingdom of God.

But God has a plan, (Psalms 9:8) "And He shall judge the world in righteousness".
(Hosea 10:12) Says, "till he come and rain righteousness upon you".
(Rom. 4:6) Shows that "God imputeth righteousness without works".
(Rom. 5:17) shows that righteousness is a gift.

God will change the unrighteous to righteous, then all will be in the kingdom of God.

My own personal idea and that is all it is but based on much scripture is that this realm is where hell is located and when people have these visions they are seeing hell (grave) but thru the lens of their own understanding.

Here is where the worm dieth not, plenty in the gound still chomping after thousands of years, here is where there is gnashing of teeth.........just watch the news, heck just go hang out on some fundamentalist forums for that matter. Plenty of gnashing going on there.
Here is the realm of the dead, Jesus said let the dead bury the dead but you , follow me.

I would be very dubious of these tales. Are they lying? Deluded? Conniving? Who knows?

What I do know is that it in all of the biblical accounts of those raised from the dead, whether by Jesus or by the apostles, not a single one of those accounts includes anything like what these people claim. That, in and of itself, ought to give one pause.

That they advocate Christ, I would only echo Paul, who said that Christ being preached is a good thing.

Let me get this straight. If there is no endless torment for the wicked, then Jesus died in vain?

Destroying sin and it's wages is nothing? Reconciling the entire creation back to God is nothing?

Surely, you have not thought this through, brother or sister. I urge your prayerful reconsideration.

Peace and blessings to you,

Andy

The problem once hell is removed from the equation, "what are we saved from then?" or "That gives me licence to live as I please etc."

Anyone who comes up with those kinds of question have only Fire Insurance

The saved from what comes from the very first verse in Matt that speaks about save.

"..to save His people from their sins" Mat 1:23

If you think UR or CU as we call it gives licence to sin, be my guest, go sin, go do drugs, go to the brothels, don't use a condom, drink excessive amounts of alcohol, go beat up your wife and kids, sexually molest children, go rob a convenience store, beat up some ol lady tramp, drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, kill someone in this state.

Go on go live the good life.

Hmm, does not sound too enticing does it?

Yes sin has consequences.  All of the the "good life" examples illustrated above, have consequences in the here and now.  Now even and Atheist would likely not do these things.  Drugs will kill you eventually, promiscuity will lead to venereal diseases, excessive alcohol consumption; cirrhosis of the liver, and the rest a hefty fine, suspension or more likely jail time.  Does that sound like the good life?

No, I guess not.

See that is what Jesus came to save us from, the consequences of our sins.  Through His Holy Spirit we are able to overcome our weaknesses.

If fear of Eternal Torment is the only reason you serve Jesus then you are a false disciple, a pious one at best and most likely one that has a measure of self righteousness.  Read up on the Pharisees, see how Jesus dealt with their attitudes, they all thought they had it right and most of the hell verses Jesus speaks of is in direct correlation to them, the pious, righteous, whitewashed tombs.

I apologise if this sounds harsh, but anyone needing hell to be real, does not know the true heart of our Father.

Is it not ironic, the books on hell that reinforce the pious and self righteous views of salvation are such hot sellers?  Why are the heaven visions not so popular?  See where I am going with this, there is a verse that explains this:

Pro 23:6  Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
Pro 23:7a  For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

Try reading verse 6 w/o the grey bit which is inserted for grammatical sense.

Once we see the church focus proportionally on the Kingdom of heaven vs. hell in the same ratio, then just maybe, we will be on the same page.

Jesus spoke more on hell than anything else - false

See here for study to refute this.

In closing, any teaching/vision/testimony that reinforces the belief in a literal hell reinforces the perceived speciality and self righteousness of the believer and btw, these books will get pushed as fire insurance premiums need to be kept up to date.  The laity are horrified if more start believing what we do as that takes away their income base.

While you remain saddled to the harlot of religion, the blinkers stay on.  Jesus did not bring us religion (bondage) He brought us liberty.

Who the Son set free is free indeed.
