Translation? ...it's a SPIRITUAL thing!

I recommend to you that you don't believe scattered and tradition laden, opinions of men... Rather, ...believe the testimony of the Scriptures:

John 3:13 --- and NO MAN [which includes all MEN] hath ascended up to Heaven BUT HE that came down from Heaven, even the Son of MAN which IS in Heaven...

It is appointed for MEN to DIE:

Heb 9:27 -- and it is APPOINTED unto men once to DIE, but after this the JUDGMENT

This is death of SPIRIT which is the FIRST death... and occurs (as with Adam & Eve) upon the advent of SIN in the life -- Gen 2:17 -- Even though Adam and Eve ate, they continued to LIVE in the Physical, but in the DAY they ATE, they died in SPIRIT.

Then the JUDGMENT occurs, which is the LIFE revealed from beginning to end, that which was DECLARED of it by YHVH, END to BEGINNING...  :cloud9:

Elijah, Enoch and Moses were all ...MEN... and are yet in their Graves awaiting the call which calls ALL MEN forth from it:

John 5:28 --  Marvel not at this for the hour is coming in the which ALL, that are in the graves shall hear His voice and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of judgment.

This does not disinclude any MAN...

Enoch is listed in the "faith chapter" -- Heb 11:5 -- which later in verse 13, notes that all listed before had ...DIED... in faith having NOT recieved the promises...  :dontknow:

Enoch is NOT the only one which was/is/will be ..."TRANSLATED" while yet in the FLESH --- Col 1:13 -- "Translation" --- was/is/will be, a SPIRITUAL thing, NOT a physical thing (literally being taken into heaven), ...rather a SPIRITUAL translation of a sinful men into the Kingdom of GOD...

That which occured in ENOCH's case was a SPIRITUAL translation... for while in SINFUL flesh, He had pleased God with his FAITH...

 :cloud9: I saw something different in John 5:28 there. Why are we assuming that He means literal graves ONLY? This body of flesh is a grave of dust also until we hear the call of His voice.

John 5:28 --  Marvel not at this for the hour is coming in the which ALL, that are in the graves shall hear His voice and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil unto the resurrection of judgment.

And those that have done good (spirit returns to the One who gave it=resurrection of life), and those that have done evil (soul; all men have sinned and fell short of the glory of God=resurrection of judgment). Wheat and tares illustration again....

Some hear His voice in the literal grave, some hear it in the grave of this body of sin, but all will hear it. Blessings....
