I just got to see Collective Soul in person recently and I so enjoyed the concert I was in heaven! They are so awesome live.

If you get the chance and they are coming into your area dont miss it.

One of the rare bands that in person is just as good, the lead singer really is always on pitch! haha

 :cloud9: I love the song, "Shine", but I didn't know who performed it. I primarily only listen to contemporary Christian music. Not because I feel I "have" to, but because of the effect it has on ME, LOL. I NEED to lift Him up, all day, every day.

Well sis they do have christian members in the band. That is why many of their songs are so filled with meaning.

Now you can have fun listening to all their old stuff and finding what you like. That is one thing I love about downloading music, I can get just the songs I want. Dont you love that?

Of course if the band is someone I really like a whole lot, I buy the cd

  Yes feeling the Love of God today lol , and  ''shine '' is one of my favorite  songs , my whole family  loves ''Collective Soul''
'' the world I know '' is an all time fav   when our  kids and  hubby  go  on road trips , we all listen  to this particular  song  in the car .. made it a must! ... lol

and yes indeed  they DOhave great spiritual  signifigance  to me as well ,  moving for sure !

Then chorus to this shine is
