Lefein

I am Lefein, and I have an interesting story to tell as to how I got here.

It all began...or did it? >.>

When a friend of mine sent me a book by George MacDonald, Phantastes, and in the preface I saw some information about him, his Christian faith, and his life, especially that of his mood in writing; but then I saw "Universalist", and it made me wonder.  So I began to do research as to what exactly a Universalist really is.  What I found...startled me a little bit, not in the sense of being frightened emotionally, but it was a startling that could only be described as the kind that you could imagine, when a bumble bee rams into your leg, doesn't sting you...but you become aware of the bee at any rate, and are somewhat disturbed by it being around.

But instead of squashing this proverbial bee...I decided to look at its wings, and found out it wasn't a bee at all!  But somehow, I found a butterfly.  Now, I haven't decided yet, if I should let this butterfly land on my finger...or simply walk by on the kingdom road...But it has lead me to question why it rammed into me at any rate.  And so I am here, because of a faerie tale, which if its writer was righter than those who have decided they are right...then it is a faerie tale perhaps come true, and a more beautiful hope for my (so far three years straight) prayer for another...the consequences of failure for the desired answer, a concept which has long plagued me.

Now, certainly I will be here to ask some tough questions!  So a forewarning, I am a man who in elder days would have made a fantastic templar...alas, for that plagues me also my sin of Judgementalism.  But I only reveal it to say: I am not a man who likes to sway with any wind of doctrine, if it is Christ, I surrender, if it is not...and does not bear good fruit in his name, then I pray I am not swayed.

But none the less, I come in love, and I come only with the intent of being certain, and assured for my safety and others.  A warrior in Christ's kingdom who is already toughened by the battlefield...and so doesn't like the clamour of war at his gates. :(

(PS: I like being semi-poetic too :p )

May love and grace abound with you - in Jesus' name - Amen.

Beloved Servant

Are you here — to be swayed?

Or to have your fears allayed?

Have in your past — Believed something wrong?

And somehow known it all along —

Hell, damnation just couldn't be;

Christ died for me on Calvary!

Could His death been all in vain

and save just widows, deaf, dumb and maim?

Or could perhaps the Father have planned

A place for Lefein in heaven's land.

To gain high wisdom

My goal, aloft - God may tell.

I hope to know truth.

Beloved Servant

Don't we all; there is but one Teacher.

His name is Truth.

Lefein

That is an amazing statement.  Though I've found Him, it makes me sad that others haven't...I struggle with the idea that my loved ones will die forever.   I have a few questions about my own experiences and views on Hell as well, that I will need answering for, as well as the supplementary stuff of others.  I hope I won't be a burden here with my constant questions. xD

Beloved Servant

You are encouraged to read the boards as many of your questions have, most probably, been already answered. Seek, knock, open.

Lefein

I'd like to share a few things too if I may :)  Thank you for having me!  I hope to, if my journey goes positively here, be more than a guest, but a fellow. ^^

*hugs everyone*

Molly

9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

--Mat 7

Why would the One you love allow the ones you love to die forever?

He wouldn't.  But, I like things simple.  There are others here who know all the theology.

The bumble bee has no sting.
It just leads us to the land of milk and honey.

What's all the buzz about???

God is LOVE --> 1 John 4:8

Think on this...

If you have loved ones, whom you LOVE, and they "DIE forever"... then LOVE in that portion has DIED...  :omg:

Anyhoo... welcome new friend, Lefein... :welcome:  :newb:

What "questions" do you have? :dunno:  Ask away!
