Stephen Colbert is one of my favorite American comedians. He focuses on everything fro politics, religion, society, pop-culture and then he has his own topics of interest, like bears, which are On Notice along with Falsiness which is a direct ripoff of Truthiness.

He is a master of fallacy, to expose it for what it is, absolute foolishness being passed off as truth. Hence the new definition in the word, "Truthiness." and his insistance that the facts don't matter. It is about gut! The usage of fallacy has pinned the character that Stephen Colbert plays on  TV, as "a fool who doesn't act like a fool", yet dealing consistantly with intense subjects of controversy, demonstrates how much knowledge he actually doesn't have and so uses fallacy to cover his tracks. This is purposeful, he is a brilliant man who writes most of his own material. "There is no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? My gut tells me otherwise!" "Pedephile priests? I served as an alterboy and I can tell you, my gut tells me... *cut to next new article*"
