The Lord.

In (1Sam. 2:27) And there came A MAN OF GOD unto Eli, and said unto him, THUS SAITH THE LORD.
It doesn't say who the man of God is. It was the Lord who said Eli's sons would die.
Samuel must have also told Eli about his sons. (1Sam. 3:17: And he said, what is the thing that the Lord hath said unto thee? I pray thee hide it not from me: God do so to thee, and more also, if thou hide any thing from me of all the things that he said unto thee. And Samuel told him every whit, and hid nothing from him.

I will say Samuel.

What is the name of Moses' bronze snake?
(Num. 21:8) And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a FIERY SERPENT, and set it upon a pole. (2Kings 18:4) He removed the high places, and brake the images and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brazen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it NEHUSHTAN.
It was a fiery serpent that was called Nehushtan, which means "a piece of brass".

Hi micah,
I was thinking it might be Samuel but in (1Kings chapter 13) this "man of God" which seems to be the same man of God in Samuel was killed by a lion for disobeying God. I thought this was strange because the man of God took the word of the old prophet that told him an angel said "for the old man to go into his house" therefore God caused the lion to kill him. Why wasn't the old prophet punished instead for lying to the man of God? Shows you can't trust anybody!!

Thanks!
