Title: Twisting the Scripture
Post by: gregoryfl on October 16, 2015, 01:35:06 AM
I wonder if the increase in the twisting of Scripture can be attributed to the increase in leather and other soft bound editions?

Possibly. Back when they had the papyrus scrolls, they just rolled it.  :laughing7:

Some of us don't roll that way.  :laughing7: :laughing7:

But seriously, people today have itching ears, Bible scholars need work, holding a copyright is lucrative, PhD's must have something new to offer, and little by little, a little later, Jesus begins to wonder if there will really be faith on the earth when He returns...

Just as Hell came trickling in from pagan sources as pagans were converted (?) to Christianity, a lot of things are trickling in from
-isms all over the board, and many of them expect the eternal Word of God to toe their line.  Some call it relevance, but Laz calls it blasphemy.

I think now, as in the days of the KJV transaltion, they cannot see beyond the paradigm they are in, so it is like a veil, preventing them from conceiving of the possibility of their error. Their philacteries also prevent them from getting out and walking around in the real world and being humbled and knocked upside the head until their eyes clear and their ears are unstopped.

The earth is flat, and hell is forever.
