1 Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars.
To what events does the above verse refer? (why?)

it refers to the false prophets of the groves[trees of righteousnes/ or so they think....the HIGH PLACES/powers principalities/ruling in the temple]
desolation of the temple in Jerusalem prophecy..because they rejected the Lord when He come to them....not knowing the 'hour' of their visitation
yokes are made of trees also, and idols are also; overlaid with silver and gold...that men 'bow down to" and carry a 'burden' supposedly of the Lord
It also refers to those who panel their houses with cedar....while the Lord's house is in ruins....and in SoS the little sister church[immature..not ready for
love's expression" 'our house is cedar/beams] and this..her brothers say if she is a door[open to every wind of doctrine]...they will enclose her with cedars

The Holies were made from cedars that grew in Lebanon. That's why the the Temple was also called (the) Lebanon.

OK, the answer.
The Holies of the Temple were constructed with Cedar wood from Lebanon.
The priests called the holies Lebanon.
The Temple had huge bronze doors that were so heavy it took 20 priests open them in the morning and close them in the evening.
But shortly after His crucifixion the doors swung open each night.
The Lebanon(=Temple) opened its own doors.
This continued for 40 years until the Romans burned down the Temple..
