TILL CHRIST BE FORMED IN YOU
Walk straight and steady
In the word of truth
Trust in the Lord
Because He cares for you
Walk in the Spirit
In all you say or do
Till Christ be formed in you
Endure chastisement
With the end in view
Embrace the cross
The means of humbling you
Quench not the Spirit
He will lead you through
Till Christ be formed in you
A father disciplines his sons
And all the apprehended ones
Will be refined from every trace of the flesh
And so shall Christ be manifest
Seek out the Father
And His holy will
Cling not to man
To lead or rescue you
Worship in Spirit
Who fills and comforts you
Till Christ be formed in you
A father disciplines his sons
And all the apprehended ones
Will be refined from every trace of the flesh
And so shall Christ be manifest

Thank you both, Bob and John!
"Who fills and comforts you
Till Christ be formed in you."
Awesome.
For something to be formed in you I like the illustration of concrete; area has to be prepared and cleansed. Then the boundary precisely laid out. The mixture has to be formed and mixed completely to the right texture. Then get poured in to fill the entire area to capacity. Then the area has to set, which times time for that to cure. When properly set and well cured the foundation cannot be destroyed easily, rather can take a lot of hard work, wear and tear without even noticing the effect.
Christ formed in you is precise.
Couldin't you also refer to this as growing in grace?
CHB
Could indeed. Growth, to me, is a continuing process.
The vine, the vinedresser comes to mind.
