After seeing a discussion on the Sons of God taking wives of the daughters of men, I remembered a short story I had made long before my involvement in Universal Reconciliation, so after finding the notes, and editing it a little bit...I decided to share it. :)

This was made a few years ago, and it is not scriptural in the sense of it being infallible, infact I dare say, I wrote it as a "Christian Fable", inspired a bit by Greek mythology...I just thought I'd share it. ^^

QuoteEons ago, in the first age of man, before the days of Moses, or Abraham.  Before the raising of Babel, even before the days of Noah, and his flood.  When mankind still walked amidst the wild and pristine world, untouched and unspoiled by the works of greed and depravity when the sons and daughters of men were still new and clean, less spoiled then by the spread of sin, still new to their fallen world.

There they walked under the shadows of the mountains, and the forests that spread across the earth that was good.

And it was in this world that the first children of Adam were born. The first generations of man, sons and daughters.

The angels on high were charged with guarding the ways of the Earth then bound to their duties, to maintain the orders of materium.

And there was an angel amongst them, though his name long is forgotten in our histories, a single angel, a simple Cherub charged with recording the flights of birds, and keeping their migratory paths. He walked then, amongst the unspoiled trees, and collected every chirp, and every beat of their feathery wings.

But one day, upon his daily errands, he came across a tranquil fall small and calm, trickling down amidst the grey, misty rocks, surrounded by the trees, their green leaves opened and covered in the dew of the morning and amidst the misty fog, he saw there a strange shape, a new shape. Indeed he knew of the animals, and of the birds that God had made but recalled not this creation, it was new to him.

He drifted silently unclad, and invisible wrapped in the illusion of cloud, blending into the mist
and crept curiously and slowly.  He heard then the small and sweet voice, a voice unlike that of the birds that serenaded his presence in the day. It was the voice of a young girl, a daughter of Adam her name now lost in antiquity never recorded save by the hands of angelic minds but forever remembered in Heaven for the deeds that befell in this tale.

She was named "Tila" by the angel. Tila, because as she sang, she would sing happily and with an air of nonsense, not speaking words, but speaking songfully with sounds;

"Tila, la, la, daeo, tila, la, la dey."

He hearkened unto the singing, the tila'la'la, and moved the mists around to clear his sight

Tila she was, a young girl indeed, bathing in the stream. The angel felt then, a strange desire a burning want that rose through his immortal shell, though he knew not what it was at the time.

For days he watched her, and listened as she sang and bathed in the stream every morning, and evening, wrapped in invisible cloud.

Until one day, he came upon the shore and wrapped himself in his angelic garment bright, and beautiful, handsome and perilous, yet still and calm as he walked upon the waters to greet her

She looked up at him, and fell in love, as he had fallen for her also.

And so he took her, and made love to her on the shore, and held her in his untainted arms long into the night.

But the angels above saw this...and were displeased...

They went before the throne of God, and let loose their grievances against the angel

"He has left his place, and engaged himself unto your fallen children"

"He must be cast away, this travesty must not stand"

They wailed and groaned for seven days, and seven nights as the angel and Tila walked in love upon the earth.

And on the last day, the choirs of the angels brought forth Lucifer, to speak with God, Lucifer the accuser, Lucifer the damned, and he spoke to God, containing his arrogant laughter wrapping his voice in deceptive sweetness.

"Behold God, Lord most High!"
"Look at your servant...
"See what foul desecration he brings upon himself to sleep with a fallen child"
"You must cast him out....Unless you be not as JUST as you claim, God most Righteous!"

Snearing and grinning Lucifer rose up on his feet and spread his wings, his voice bellowed out with his final appeal;

"Choirs of the Angels! Sons of God! I was cast down for less!"

And the angels around God rose in tumult, and the heavens flashed and boomed as they fought and argued, debating and accusing.

And God sat in silence...knowing the hearts of all whom he had made.  He looked down upon the earth, and saw the angel, and Tila and saw the innocence, amidst the travesty and sin that the angel had done.

God rose up, and walked amidst the choir of quarreling angels, He then lifted his hand, and began to speak, his voice echoing across the Heavens, an echo of three in one harmonious triumvirate; he said;

"I, shall cast him down."

And the angels cheered and Lucifer smiled with guile

"Another angel of God to fall"

And so God waited, and watched until Tila fell asleep upon the earth and he took the angel up, to render his judgement upon him.

"I, have decided...my dear son..."
"To cast you out from your place amongst the heavens for your sin"

The angel looked up at God, and felt then another emotion an emotion that had never crossed his heart, one of fear, one of guilt, conviction...separation.  And fear indeed swept across his wings, rippling in his shining eyes.

"Am I to be cast down for eons?  Am I to be thrown into Tartarus?"

He looked down at Tila, and began to weep...believing that he would forever be cursed to be parted, seperated from her, and God in the long eternal darkness, chained beneath the bowels of creation.

And God knew his fear, and saw his anguish, so he whispered to the Angel;

"You chose Tila above your place do you not?"

Though he knew the answer..

"Yes, I do indeed"

The angel thus replied.

"Then go and meet her upon the Earth!"

And laughing aloud with mirth and merriment, God pushed the angel out of the gates and the laughter filled the Heavens as the choirs of angels stood puzzled and confused

Lucifer beheld as the angel fell, and cheered as he did plummet.

"May he forever be chained in Tartarus for his deed!"

Lucifer was greatly pleased...but his cheering began to taper, and his face became filled with wrath; for the angel fell indeed, but he fell smiling.

He bore down upon the earth with meteoric speed his wings stripped away from his body, burned away in the fire of his descent, his golden hair singed but his eyes blazed with happiness and joy as he neared the hastening end of his fall

God lifted his hands amidst His laughter and behold the ground beneath the angel cracked and softened before him roots and shoots burst forth from the divinely tilled earth, a garden of strawberries burst forth and opened up to cushion his fall, and the angel fell upon them, and was sorely bruised...being mortal now, wrapped in dying flesh.

His body had landed in the strawberry patch and was soon covered in the juices of the sweet fruit. Tila came running then, and fell at his feet, tending his wounds, and she looked at the angel, and saw who he was she embraced him amidst the strawberries...
