When I was a young boy
My Dah told me son
You must look in the mirror
To become a real man
And its not always easy
To see yourself clearly
So make sure you stand in the sun

Our natural state
Is misty and dreary
We have faults that we love
and hold onto quite dearly
But theres yonder more good
If you do like you should
You'll find joy in your life
And a woman

She'll help you raise children
And as they grow older
You will grow wiser
Until one day.......
Sharing good food and drink....
Round a table full of love.....
All will listen and you"ll say.....
To be right in this world

Try to love everyone
Till the end of your story
Is written with the pen
Of the One who'll find glory
In the simple days you lived
