If lots of Catholics are gonna be condemned to hell for worshipping gods and goddesses they didn't really know.. and since my grandmother died with the Blessed Virgin in her heart, the Christian thing to do would to be a Catholic so that I can be condemned together with her and show solidarity with those who would be condemned because they were utterly clueless about the Gospel because the Father didn't draw them in...

But joking aside, is God [temporarily] resentful against Catholics?
