I wanted to share this with you guys.  Friday afternnon I ws driving long the highwy..and as I gazed

out over the landscape to my right,I saw a large grassy hill several miles in the distnce.

I saw white sheep scattered about on the hill, grazing etc on the grren pasture..and took note...

of the pleasant landscape about me.

I glanced back at the road for a few secounds.....then again my eyes riveted to the sheep

on the hill.  Imagine my surprise when I realized that what I was veiwing was actully a

cementary on the hill..and my sheep were monument stones!!!!!!!

I chuckled to myself about my eyesight not being what it used to be...then these words come to me.

.....the Lord is my shepherd,I shll not be in want..HE MKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PSTURES

He leads me beside quiet waters,he restores my soul... He guides me in paths of righteousness

for His namesake. EVEN THOUGH I WLK THROUGH THE VLLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH

I SHALL FEAR NO EVIL,FOR YOU RE WITH ME. YOUR rod and your staff they comfrt me......

Then...I ws musing how maybe my worldy vision dimming..may somehow be  clarifying my

spiritual vision.   And I thought of 'I came that those who saay they see become blind..and that

the blind may see"

anyway...I got good laugh at myself over it..and thought you guys might see the humour of it  also

Hehehehe that was cute Sheila!! Reminds me of when my Grampy was still alive and he and my Gram both had horrible hearing. I used to go over for Sunday dinner after church and oftentimes they would be talking to each other and each would be having a completely different conversation than the other. Well I couldn't help it I used to sit in my chair and shake from laughter because my Grammy was talking to Grampy about the wonderful sermon and my Grampy would reply that yes he did think wonderfully of Herman, and they would continue on for a good five to ten minutes before they realized they weren't speaking about the same things at all...  :icon_jokercolor:

Sheila, eyes are limited. They can only focus on one thing. Yours are focussed on spiritual stuff.
If you want to see more of the world you should ask God for bi-focal glasses  :gpg:
1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...
