PRAISE THE NAME OF JESUS  Dungan, 1902

Praise the Name of Jesus for His tender care,
Watching o'er me every day;
He will bear my burdens, hear my feeble prayer,
And will guide me when I stray.

Refrain
All the way, all the way,
I will praise his Name every day;
I am happy in my blessed Savior's love,  :HeartThrob:
I am singing all the way.

For my Savior is my never-failing Friend,
Thro' the night and thro' the day;
On His love  :HeartThrob: I know I always can depend,
So I'll praise Him every day.

Tho' the dark'ning shadows round about me creep,
And the way is lone and drear:
By my Savior's side I'll ever closely keep,
Singing happy songs of cheer.

Good heart in that old song.

Are you using a hymnal for reference?

I've always loved to read through hymnals.  They have a wealth of faith in them.

also own about 30 cd's of the National Christian Choir whose mission statement is
"The NCC is called to glorify God through unique ministry of music which draws people into a new and deeper relationship with Him."  As part of their ministry they send their CD's to servicemen/servicewomen... I donate to this as part of my thanks to all those precious men and women...

and I have a very precious treasure: a CD graciously prepared for me by jabcat/James with 20 songs written by him, sung by him, and music-composed and played by him.  The CD has no label...when I play it on my computer...it shows Artist: Unknown   This CD has really blessed a couple of the people with whom I have shared it - one, an atheist, plays it on her car CD player whenever she travels; which she does quite frequently...she has indicated to me that she really likes it...

I'm listening either to NCC cd's or James' cd  all day long... or to my radio which is set at Classical MPR...offers many, many hymns with music provided by some of the great Classical...Bach, Beethoven, etc...
