has anyone ever been to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival?
i'm going this weekend, and if its good the next also.

Years ago, while I was visiting some friends in Minnesota, I was invited by one of them to attend the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. I hate large groups of people mulling around. My friend nearly got on her knees, begging me to go with her. I reluctantly agreed. Did I enjoy it? I returned to MRF the next six years!! I really enjoyed the horse races (my friend's husband owned a large stable of great horses). Also, the MRF was my introduction to food on a stick.
Go - enjoy. Besides the autumn colors in that area are gorgeous.
