That's a perfect picture of Churchianity today.
I'm not sure where I read it, but I remember the story told by a Mormon missionary in Australia back in the late 1940's. He met a man on his rounds who ID'd himself as a Satanist, and who invited the young man to join him. He said, "We have taken over all the churches, and yours will be next!"
...and it's all too easy.. as all it takes to diLute the POWER of the gospel is one thread of untruth weaved into the threads of truth.. Let alone such an awful thread and untruth as so many will fall through the cracks and be lost, or 'gulp' :eek: far worse, tortured for ever and ever.. (It's rationality God endowed, which yes caused all this trouble we see / life as we presently know it, but geesh, might as well use it, rationality and thinking ability that is.) :smile:
