What a frigging sin. I despise the "justice" system there... there is no justice in it! It has screwed my friends over so many times. I pray that God brings judgment swiftly. (It's a horrible sore spot for me in case you couldn't tell. Lol.)

It seems the more money you have, the more "justice" you have.
Even a Lawyer friend of mine says it's not if they are guilty or not. it's which lawyer
presents the most plausible scenario for the jury.

It's horrible. And makes me so angry. I do wonder how many people are in jail or prison or have had to pay huge fines and legal fees for things they did not do or had no control over. I know one and know of many more. Again, may God bring swift judgment. I rarely get so angry. This has to end.
I read on an alternative news site..the other day..that America has 1/3 of the total people in prision in the entire world.....all
other countries combined had 2/3 of total amount.

Oh my gosh!! One country holds 1/3 of all the worlds prisoners?? That's insane!!!
Part of that is "a swift and speedy trial" guaranteed by the constitution can take years.
Another part is that the criminals are mollycoddled and given more rights than the victims.
Finally, Punishment is to sit and rot - big deal. People come from other countries to be here because
jail with it's air conditioning, 3 meals a day, television, library, exercise equipment - not to mention the fun, fellowship, and cameraderie of the small group dynamic. :doh: is often better than the country they are from. What I'm saying, it's worth the risk to a lot of people.
Convicted pedophiles should have parts removed. Multiple theft convictions, or enormous sums (say over $100,000)
needs a hand removed. Harsh? Yes. Effective? Yes. Check out the crime statistics and what the punishment is over in China.
Crime rate is extremely low. They probably have more political dissidents than real criminals in their jail.

It's not a justice system, it's a "just-us" system.
So-called "Justice" is a commodity sold by the legal-sized pound.

That's why prevention and rehabilitation are ignored, while enforcement is waged primarily upon hapless addicts and the real big shots live like kings on the earth and buy the blind eyes of our leaders.
