Imo, everything in this 'life as we know it' is imperfect, including 'free-will'.. (But it's better than being a robot or the tiniest of children forever).

"You did not choose me, but I chose you.." Paradox, two poles, opposites but not(?)

No, we're not free - but when that ultimate Jubilee Trumpet sounds, we will be.  :dsunny:
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

Absolutely! But what some mean by 'free will' is the ability to make choices or choose, as opposed to being a robot and not having choice, nor thinking ability from which choice springs.. It kind of resembles saying God is in control (which He is!!!). But, this world and life as we presently know it, is a result and outgrowing of human choices.. This, surely, all has purpose? We, the children of God, all of us, are here learning something.. surely? Otherwise couldn't an all powerful God simply encode it all within us, yet that is not what He did.. All is perfect. All going according to His Plan and Purpose, proving what is, or that is to say we are chewing upon that fruit of knowing good from evil.. surely? What else could possibly be going on? A trick, to consign some to age lasting torture? No one goes to the LOF! God's Plan = Perfect. Utter and complete Perfection, noting less, nothing more.  :dsunny:

I've kinda given up on the whole thing.  I can see that I can be predestined to believe I have free-will, and my free-will can lead me believe that I am predestined.  In either case I can't tell which is which from here, so I think I'm about ready to just give it to God.  I have a whole argument which breaks it down, but that's the gist.
