I have thought about this many times. Love the words to this song. Wish I had written this. This man is in a wheel chair.

A very sweet, gentle sort of song, CHB.

I had read a story about this couple. She died rather young. They were apparently a great husband/wife Christian singing team. They had a little girl who was diagnosed with Down's Syndrome, and I believe she was maybe a toddler, when her Mom passed. So, I am guessing they sang this, after they knew how ill the Mom was. What a beautiful testimony to faith and trust in God, and to what is truly important in our time here on earth.

I had never heard this song. Thank you for sharing it.

Love Christian music......and music, in general.

D.

Hi D,

I don't agree with the second line in this song. It says "was my faith in your Grace strong enough to save me". My faith can do nothing, it is all about the faith of Christ. Another thing, it might seem like we are doing the works but it is Christ that lives in us, He does the works.
