IMO,
Most religious folks seem to think that their religion is the only one that is true. They see themselves as a type of "circumcision." They never realize that their "church" is nothing more than a social club - They are organized, they have membership, the members own the organization and its property, the members support the organization, they have rules, they have a common interest, they have regular meetings, they have periodic business meetings, and they have frequent social events. But they think it's special to God. They think their church organization is ordained by God. They think it is the church, the ecclesia. They "ordain" their ministers and put them on pedestals, and their ministers think they are special. They are offended if you tell them their "church" is only a type of social club. They are taught to give tithes, but they use most of the money to keep the organization going, and to entertain themselves, while little goes to actual ministry. Most never have a clue that all this "availeth nothing" and that their religion is not what they need - it does them more harm than good. They are anything but the circumcision, and even if they were, it still "availeth nothing." Add that to the fact that their doctrines are truth mixed with lies designed to keep them in, and man what a trap!
IMO.

Religion IS a business. I do not believe there would be very many religious businesses if they had to pay taxes. :2c:

Yes,,,      the beast shall hate the whore  , you ever wonder why that is ?  :flamebreath:

  Rev  1715And he said to me, "The waters which you saw where the harlot sits, are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues.

16"And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her desolate and naked,

and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire.

17"For God has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose by having a common purpose,

and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God will be fulfilled.......

Very interesting thought.
Do you think the beast is the government and the whore is the church?

Something along those lines   and more for sure , JB

Many ways to compare     between the two

  what is seen in the natural     for me is only a shadow of    what is seen   in  the   spiritual   realm

  A realm /ˈrɛlm/ is a community or territory over which a sovereign rules;

it is commonly used to describe a kingdom or other monarchical or dynastic state

Thus  the need for a new heaven and earth
