Quotable quote: from Tentmaker 11/10/13 Lazarus Christian Rap
"Anna, I never get tired of classical music either. It has such a wide range of expression, of instrument, of forms, etc., and most of it is solidly rooted in western Christian culture. ..."
Lazarus, you often come to mind as I listen to Classical MPR 24/7 ... (I've asked God to make my thoughts of you to be prayers for His peace, joy, grace, light, life to reign in your mind and heart)...
Anyway, the past few weeks have been great, great listening times as Classical MPR featured/features Advent and Christmas songs... most are based on the Scriptures (MPR was started by St John's University here in Minnesota in the late 1960's... St. John is owned and operated by Benedictine Monks who in my experience strongly encourage Scripture study, etc., )
You might enjoy listening online... I still use my old-fashioned radio!!!

Anna - how sweet and how thoughtful! :HeartThrob: I love NPR in the evening, and lately got an antenna hooked up to get a good signal from Maljamar, 40-some miles away, and that's no mean feat for FM. MPR may as well be coming from the next galaxy, so I'll be trying your link. Thanks again!
EDIT: Yup - it sounds a LOT better than broadcast FM, even with my good radio and antenna. You know, I've been mistaken for a Minnesotan, due to my accent - something in the vowels... :dunno2:
