"ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS"
All I want for Christmas
Is a heart that's Full of Love :HeartThrob:
That's better than a Partridge
Or a pair of Turtledove
All I want for Christmas
Is to Spread that Love around :HeartThrob:
To see a Smile on a Persons Face
Who used to wear a frown
All I want for Christmas
Is to share the Joy in me
The Joy of Knowing Jesus
The Gift that God gave me.

He1MyHeart did you write this poem ?
Its is a wonderful from the heart beauty . :HeartThrob:
Yes I wrote this back in in November of 1982. We were at home, then in Illinois, and had been talking with our children about what we were all wanting for Christmas when this poem began to bubble up within my heart. I just wrote down the words as I heard them within me. That's how all my poems come. I wish I had that ability in High School then my English teacher wouldn't have been so frustrated with me! :punish: Ha Ha Ha
Thank You for the kind words Rosered this poem thing is a gift from the Lord. The Holy Spirit began giving me poems after my receiving the Spirit Baptism back in 1976. That is how I learned to recognize his voice to begin with since I knew the words were not something I would ever think of as they rhymed. I didn't like poetry in High School so when I noticed it coming up in my heart/spirit I was like whoa! I think I hear something!
That is Awesome He1MyHeart !
Those gifts and talents are a benefit to all in the body of Christ . Brightens our day
Truly God gives the increase.
Many , many poems have become songs of praise , when music is written to them :HeartThrob:
