Who by God's grace

My knowledge by experience,
Wisdom found in consequence,
Understanding gain and loss,
Carrying willingly my own cross.
My failures in my whole of soul,
Things I say that I should hold,
Arrogance, self-will and pride,
Letting not Your will decide.
Putting down my valued prize,
Your gift I often take in pride,
Chastised in love I put these down,
The beauty of your given crown.
At Your feet my Lord and King,
I put down my "everything".
