Title: quote - bringing salvation to all
Post by: marie glen on May 07, 2019, 04:14:02 PM
Titus 2:11 (yet another straight out UR verse)

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men"

Of course ET/ECT says over and over "did/does God really say...? Instead of being as children and able to read what it simply says!

And the word "all" is the same "all, every, the whole" (pas, and its forms/tenses).

Same as is used when the Lord said a lamp gives light to all in the house.. It does not say gives light to only a chosen few. I suppose someone could say about that verse, that they must enter the room..

Which of course is true, but the focus is use of the word "pas" (all). Besides we also know the Lord said if He was "lifted up - signifying what sort of death He would die - He would draw/drag (woo? imo) ALL, every, the whole, to Himself" Jn.12:32. Which is a verse which follows, or precedes? The verse He said if a kernal of wheat dies, it will bear a multitude of fruit.. aka, wheat! Oh yes, ultimately even the tares/weeds will be wheat.

titus 2:11, the interlinear - https://biblehub.com/interlinear/titus/2-11.htm

I had someone remark to me, online lol, that all --> ethos --> 12 tribes --> IO / Israel Only.. and I'm like.. whAt!? :laughing7:

So I looked up the interlinear.. and it says all anthropois - sure sounds like all persons to me. I don't know if the person meant ethnos as Israel only or if ethos is another word.. or maybe I read it wrong and there's no n.

Nope, there's an n -  http://biblehub.net/searchstrongs.php?q=ethnos

But there is an ethos - http://biblehub.net/searchstrongs.php?q=ethos = Greek: 1485. ἔθος (ethos) -- custom, a usage ...

◄ 1485. ethos ►. Strong's Concordance. ethos: custom, a usage
(prescribed by habit or law). Original Word: ἔθος, ους, τό ...
//biblehub.com/str/greek/1485.htm -

:laughing7: ethos pretty much describes ET/ECT..

Titus 2:11 -
"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men" salvation to all anthropois.. "to all".

But a 'brainiac' will say "but does it really say..?" (Kinda sad that.. taking away & adding to His words.. May we always pray not to fall prey to that wicked spirit.. pun intended!)

The scripture - (man shall live by every word of God) - itself is hell busting! :cloud9:

All this highlights that many do not yet know the truth- specifically through personal efforts- so that no person can be above anyone else! Ergo true equality when there  will no longer be Jew,  or Greek, barbarians etc., is still to come in the coming ages where 1000 years is just a day.
No wonder we are to focus on the things to come- they will be permanent.

:2c:if you observe the pattern outlined of the camp of Israel and it's arrangement around God's  tabernacle..you will find..not

all tribes were in an order where they 'tabernacled/camped" especially close to God's presence.ALL MEN that have ever lived are

ISRAEL[man's spirit is the son of God] Did all tribes take part in the ministering of the temple[things pertaining unto God?]No,those

named by God,according to their order. Some 'camped"=temporarily abide in this earth..in the four corners..or 'scattered'

So,too,no man comes nigh[close] to God/Christ but those drawn. Yet every male was to appear in the presence of God three times

in the year of favour/salvation.

Look to me and be saved, all ye 'ends' of the earth..four corners of the earth...the 'corners of the camp/the poor/gleaners of the field

the 'corners of His garment"

AMEN!!!!!!!    being born again is the hearing the sound of the   HOLY SPIRIT   speaking and teaching us and convicting us and chastening us and  mostly  comforting us  in this life  , today if you hear his voice  and not harden our hearts    and open up our minds to his  mind   as an  up ward   calling you will live !!

...14We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly to the end the assurance we had at first.

15As it has been said: "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion."

16For who were the ones who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?...

Psalm 95:7
For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, the sheep under His care. Today, if you hear His voice,

Hebrews 3:7
Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you hear His voice,

Hebrews 4:7
God again designated a certain day as "Today," when a long time later He spoke through David as was just stated: "Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts."

born of the Spirit of eternal LIFE    :HeartThrob:

much of the Early Church and Fathers of the church like Origen, Gregory of Nyssa, Clement of Alexandria etc believed in 'Apocatastasis'(Universal Restoration)...the belief in everlasting unending torment in hell crept in more when the church was influenced by pagan beliefs in about the 5th century helped by people like Augustine who didnt really understand Greek...btw, Satan himself  was in Gods presence in the Book of Job !...Job 1:6 One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them.Job 1:7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it."...kinda disproves the claim God cannot be in the presence of a sinful creature !
