I have been a member over at ATS (Above Top Secret) for some years now.  It is a site dedicated to the discussion of various mysteries and conspiracies.  I love that stuff!  Anyway, I have been active on the Religion sub-forum for some time, mostly pushing UR and the non-existence of Hell.  At first I was accused of promoting doctrines of the Devil, and relegated to Hell by other posters.  Now I see that more people are taking a UR stance.  Today, so much so in a thread that I had little to add.  I'm pleased.
Socrates taught Plato.  Plato taught Aristotle.  Aristotle tutored the son of Philip of Macedon.  This boy grew up to become Alexander the Great, largely by slaughtering a lot of people.  That's philosophy.

Jesus spoke the Truth.  He blessed the poor.  He healed the sick.  He even raised the dead.  He died on a cross for us, lived again, and came back long enough to tell us to love one another.  That's religion.

YHVH = Behold the Nail, Behold the Hand = Jesus

Laz,

So you disclosing the best kept top secret of all times?

1 Timothy 2:3-4  ...God our Savior;  Who will have all men to be saved...
John 12:47  And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Romans 4:5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous ...

Well, no, it's not like I had eager disciples at my feet.  I see it as a work of the Spirit of Truth (one of the Seven Spirits of God) and really feel like a bystander in that regard.

Slowly but surely the truth is being known by those who have been chosen to know it. I think it's all according to God's will just like it is that some folks are believers and some are atheists. It's definitely good to finally know the truth after being deceived by orthodoxy most of your life because it answers all the questions you have about the crazy things that don't make sense like how a God of love could torture most of mankind in fire forever. Folks who settle for that just tell you it's all about justice, but that still doesn't make sense.

That created atheists, but don't forget how the church handled science.
Flat earth. Sun revolving around the earth etc.
Imo that did put a stain on the Bible

Yeah, unfortunately, atheists associate scripture with orthodoxy, but it actually tells a whole different story. Atheists also think scripture and believers are anti-science. There's plenty of scientific evidence for God though.

Did you all know that the first known instance of the scientific method is in the book of Daniel?  Yup, the test between the young men, veggies versus meat, water versus wine, complete with test and control groups.

I thought it was in the book of Genesis when they experimented to see if the apple really was poison.

That was a Deception, not a Scientific Experiment, but sometimes it's hard to tell the difference.  :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:

Lazarus, that is really good to hear! :-)

And a short while back, among other things,I was also posting some about UR,in an atheist/ex-Christian group;but I was shortly banned, from posting there. :-( Fondly remembering here,an old WebTV Christian group, that I used to post in and there, you could only be banned,if you did something terrible, like threatening to kill someone, etc! (ha) :-)
