John Crowder video - false images of God

I like John Crowders logic.. though I've not watched many video's..
He seems almost U.R. sometimes.. :dontknow:

Makes a few interesting points. Specially talks about the concept of God allowing things, not agreeing with those things, but allowing them to happen as a part of learning.

However. The new mystics.com is his website.
He is pumping the concept of a pouring out of the spirit;
Quote;  " Get whacked in the spirit into a trance because of the power." " Be drunken with glory."

Among the fruit of the spirit is self-control;  none of that there.

I guess he also talks about toking Jesus.. I think he may be trying to speak to folks who are into drinking and smoking.. I remember on Pentecost in Acts, the disciples were accused of being drunk.. "In the last days I will pour out My Spirit.."

Having done drugs and drank in my more youthful years, I can now say Jesus and God's Spirit (to me, His Presence) is the best 'high' ever..

I know there once was the term Christian mystics (more of a monastic movement, which I'm a little prone to. I have a blog called inner monastery).. I think he is trying to separate himself from the staunch (the law) fundamentalists.. But! if there is barking and howling like a wolf, which I've heard goes on in some circles..  :eek: :faint:

So, of course, I will be, and we all should be careful! And take all things with a grain of salt.. (Especially on youtube?) I've yet to come across any group or person (self included) which (imo?) has every thing right/truthful.. :smile:

As a believer in Universal Reconcilation, I get much from his teachings, even though we do differ on some points, which is fine, since I am sure many of us here differ on points on this board as well, and if we only fellowshipped with those who believe everything the way we do, fellowship as we know it would disappear. :)
