For those that are sure that UR is true, I'm sure this question is not much of a big deal

I am NOT convinced of all all loving, benevolent God, in fact, I'm lonely, scared and confused, and I can't worship an ET God...ever

So if ET is the truth of the gospel, I would choose atheism, even although atheism offers no hope to anyone, to me it's far preferable than having just a fraction of mankind being saved, to the vast majority being tortured forever

Why were we not asked whether we wanted to be born or not, I know I'd have chosen NOT to have been born had I been granted that opportunity

The short answer to your question is that in a very short time you will be extremely thankful that God has chosen to give you life. Many, if not all of us, have been where you are in regards to your fear, loneliness and confusion and it is not fun, I know. I believe that the pain that we go through in this life can be likened to birth pains; it is extremely painful, and seems to last forever, but in reality only lasts for a tiny fraction of time. And when it is over, out bursts LIFE, beautiful LIFE and you know at that instant that you would go through that pain all over again in an instant, a billion times over if you had to. Anyhow, not sure if that helped or not, but that's just my two cents. Hang in there, life will get much better for you!

I really don't think men have much choice in the matter. - It's all about what God wants; the start and the finish the alpha and omega - and we should act accordingly to what God wants because WE WANT THAT TOO.
WANTING ALL PEOPLE TO BE SAVED IS THE SAME WILL THAT GOD HAS, THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT HE HAS THE POWER TO DO IT! AND HE WILL CARRY IT OUT UNTIL HE IS ALL IN ALL!

That means we are to love ALL people and show them this GREAT LOVE.

It's a matter of remembering, although not actually present in the thoughts of mankind at the moment.

I voted atheism too, but if God is an ET then a vote won't change things.

Perhaps when we were asked it was and back then, really knowing God, it seemed like the perfect deal.

There are many opionions about God. Different names. Different character. Different ways to please Him. Etc etc.
Only one can be right (or all wrong). You quite often say you can't believe in a ET God. The whole point is does that ET God exist? Is it the correct view?

How do you survive on a forum with some many mothers-in-law?  :laughing7:
I'm not the greatest fan of Matt Slick, but he at least showed how he comes to certain conclusions. I've only read 2 threads (about 30 pages) on that forum but most avoid explaining why they believe what they believe.
But there are a few members there that are doing a good job for the lurkers. Their 'opponents' just refuse to listen. Everything is answered with fire.
Someone (Jrmey?) keeps asking for "exegesis". On itself a good start but usually just as much abused as verses out of context or selective context...
