I thought Jews did not beleive in a fiery hell?

I ended up finding this video on youtube. It's about the Jewish Talmud and in it they say Jesus is burning in boiling hot excrement. Of course i know this is false and i was shocked that the Jews have this much of a hatred for Jesus. But i am also shocked that they talk about a fiery hell, i thought the Jews did not believe in a fiery hell?

and read the actual story there, it is speaking of Titus, the emperor of Rome, who according to the this narrative, had sex with a prostitute on the scrolls of the law in the holy of holies in the , and some of his offspring were trying to raise him from the dead by magic arts, and these were the punishments Titus(from the other side) described of himself.

Definitley kind of folk-lore stuff, mythology, etc. Not the word of God and not a common view attributable to Hebrew theology- just a fable about one extremely reprobate man who troubled Israel greatly.

Boiled in hot semen it says- an obvious justice play against his lewd act against Israel, the temple, and YHWH- no where near scripture.

The makers of the video are not being honest in their presentation. It does not refer to Jesus. It does not say it lasts forever in hell- that group is an anti Israel group with an axe to grind and willing to bend the truth to make their point.

I think the parable of the rich man and Lazarus shows the false teachings of the Pharisees, which the Lord used against them, when the rich man is said to be "in the unseen...existing in torments...in this flame," but I think the word of God makes it clear that the dead are simply unseen, figuratively sleeping, until they're immortalized.

The doctrine of a fiery hell sometimes happens to pop out also in Jewish culture. For example, when Jesus taught about the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, he hadn't to explain what he was talking about. Flavius Joseph (I hope that's his name in English), writing about Jewish history, told us that the Pharisees did believe in an "eternal torment" (aidios timoria, nothing in common with kolasis aionios). With the influence of Heathen cultures, during centuries also many Jews accepted the teachings of a fiery hell, so no wonder if in the Talmud - especially the Babylonian Talmud, whose name tells us many facts about its origin - happens to teach a fiery hell. Anyway, this is no "dogma" to Judaism: within Jews, we find those who believe in reincarnation - especially those of the mystic-cabalistic branches - those who believe in a "soul sleep" until the Judgement Day, those who believe Gehenna lasts only a few months (Dr. Kevin R. Vincent, who studied for many years religions and psychology, points out that the Talmud itself states that we can't be in Gehenna for more than one year), and those who believe in an eternal torment.
The point is not whether the Jews nowadays do believe in hell or not, the point is whether this is biblically "Jewish" or not . Probably, the belief itsef about Hereafter was not always the same in ancient Israel: we can even think that during Moses's life, for example, nobody taught about a "Judgement Day", otherwise it would be clearly stated in the Pentateuch. You can see that the Sadducees themselves did not believe in resurrection or in hereafter (as it is stated both in the Gospel of Luke and in the Book of Acts), while the Pharisees did.

For what concerns Jesus in hell, Jews are actually the only religion that teaches Jesus to be in hell. Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Bahai (and Christianity of course) all teach Jesus to be in the highest heaven , so I believe this is more a cultural fact. Besides, if Jesus were in hell he'd be there together with his killers, because they did not follow the instructions of the Law about Jesus's process.

Anyway, nobody who's had visions or experiences ever said Jesus to be in hell.

Moses was a prince of Egypt and would have been well versed in the Egyptian hell mythology. The fact that he mentions no hell and warns Israel not to follow Egypt and other pagan nations should be something for all the hellfire people to contemplate why they are following a pagan teaching.

Like many Christians(The jews embraced at times all of the false teachings and abominable practices of the pagan tribes. And it was from the top down as well as from the bottom up- even to the point of sacrificing children to the fires of Molloch and Ashtoroth, gods of war and sexual perversion.
