I only read about half of the article. (I don't read a lot of things about the bible.)

I differ with all three of the article's scenarios.

I do want to mention I don't think hell is the lake of fire, or vice versa, as hell is thrown to the lof.

"Fire unto or of the age" to me refers to 3 times lof is mentioned.
   1 - at Jesus' return.. which I believe occurs as Armageddon is raging in the Middle East.. atop all that oil.. which I believe it is the tares who are gathered to Armageddon.
   2 - when Satan is loosed after the millennium of Jesus (upon Earth) and once again makes war in the same area, towards Jerusalem.. but fire falls upon them..
   3 - then after all not having repented and believed, are resurrected "still in their sins" since they died in that condition - and personally I don't believe in man's immortality UNTIL they are recorded in the book of life and in Jesus. So verses like Ps. 22:27 -- ALL the ends of Earth will remember/Hebrew-come to their senses, and will turn to the LORD and ALL the families of the nations will worship before Him and how Jesus said He will draw ALL to Himself - i figure cannot be fulfilled except somewhere between the resurrection of the not yet saved, and the all in all event of Rev.21:1-5. Which the all in all event, described by Peter in 2 Peter 3:7 and 10.. that the present heavens and earth remain until after "the judgment"/Judgment 'Day' at which time they will melt w/ ferocious heat.. aka, to me 3rd and final lof.

And anyone by end of "the judgment" as Jesus called it, or Judgment 'Day' still not believing ---> will be caught up in that last lof event.. But I believe - because of the pattern of the Fall holy days of Lev.23, that "the judgment" lasts roughly 500 years.

Fall holy day of Trumpets (the trumpets of Rev. & His literal, return in glory w/ His angels and in fire (2Thess.1:7,8) - 10 days/1000yrs later --- Day Of Atonement, representing 'Day' of judgment (doa for the initially doa) - 5 days/500yrs later --- Tabernacles, Rev.21:1-5 when God Himself makes all things new and He will now tabernacle w/ mankind upon Earth made new.. This making new of heaven and earth, being the all in all event (1 Cor.15:22-->28!) and the fiery remake of 2 Peter 3:7,10.

The two in Rev. 19, who are thrown to the lof which occurs at Jesus' return, i do not think are "who" at all.. not persons! But the bigger collective, or world beast/body of Rev. 13 and the false prophet/teacher/teaching (which has a form of 'prophecy' in it) - beings an institution of man and a belief/teaching of man "active" (translated alive) at the time of His return.. these 2, gone, consumed never to return.

The 2nd death of believers i believe to be literal end of this life death, having died to self previously.. being believers they will not be hurt by physical, end of this life death.

I believe sheol did indeed begin as death, or that is "the grave" where there is nether thought nor doing.. nor praise, etc.. Eccles. 9:10; Psalm 30. But even Israel absorbed the beliefs of the nations and the words of the serpent, that surely man won't...die.. over what the Father said at the time of dust thou art, and unto dust you shall return. As the Talmud  reveals containing these same "myths" which Paul called "Jewish myths" and "old wives tales" (to scare children? Originally were collusion of kings and priests to control the people.

And p.s., in a same way that death became life, I believe fiery judgments by OT saints/believers was always known to be Earthly. And so in NT times the prophesies of fiery judgments of man's splitting of the atom.. (seal 6 or Rev.6, but told as its whole, from 1st event to last at 'end'.. so obscures understanding.. then at 7:1 after the 1st occurence (13:13!), was and is for now, currently, paused. (13:13 however, pinpointing, noT an individual - but an office.)
