For the book Jeromes Conspiracy, this one RC completely attacked Michael Wood, and made this whole list of arguments against the book, and just went on a rant along with some other catholics. Plus, you never see Catholics going out attacking Evangelicals, or very rarely. But dont seem to mind trying to put down any evidence archaeologist found supporting early universalism.

My suspicion is that Christian universalism is probably the only Christian doctrine that Catholics cannot appear to take a superior stance towards. Of all the non catholic denominations that still believe that there is eternal suffering the catholics can look upon the wayward fold with compassion and embrace that these wayward souls mean well and that through the authority of the catholic church they can be forgiven.
With CU, it almost is the other way around. We consign all catholics and denominations to the glory of God and do not require their approval in any manner that they can actually assert with their doctrine.
I also wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that before Rome controlled Christianity, most of the people were universalists. But all the other ET churches stemmed off of Roman ideas. But they came afterwards, and there really is no "Historical" claims that they were stemmed from Jesus. By the time the Protestant Churches came about, it was a lot more difficult to rewrite history than long before in the early medieval age.
Maybe the RC just hates the fact that there are hardly any pedophile Universalists to make them look normal?

I think only a small number of Catholics are pedophiles. But it stil should not be tolerated, and the Pope should have taken care of that. But then again, the church is not perfect.

That depends. First off I was not implying that all Catholics are pedophiles.
Secondly, not all Catholics are my brothers in Christ.
Thirdly not all Universalists are my brothers in Christ.
Fifthly, I couldn't remember what I was going to say for the Fourthly.
Sixthly, I took it for granted you would know I was referring to some priests, not the whole roman catholics.
