UR versus heroin overdoses

Another young adult dies of a heroin overdose.. (around here).

Why are so many young folks doing such hardcore drugs? One reason - I believe - is because 'we' are educating them via all man's word.. and not God's Word. Even the ET gospel is better than the hopelessness man's theory of life and origins of life seems to be resulting in. (Imo)

What I'm trying to say, is how very needed "truth" is! People NEED God.

Why do heroin? Etc. Because that emptiness yearns to be filled. If I thought man's word on things to be correct.. I don't doubt I might be out there searching for drugs myself!

And of course that old ET message sure provides a LOT of fertile ground for doubt, disbelief and even ridicule and scoffing.

How good to know God is fully in control and still is fully upon His throne of rulership. And thus "all will be drawn to Jesus" the life enduring.

Drug addition is an object lesson in Sin, Glenda. Those of of us not addicted to narcotics are addicted to some other form of 'wickedness' all these things are sin which we must be rescued from our addiction to.

...amen, and what a contrast.. where truth sets free into bubbling over deep heartfelt peace, joy and satisfaction of "life", as opposed to the darkness of 'life' not deliberately and joyfully connected to He who (surely?) is life's source. And source of all good things.

We all of course were on that wayward path of death.. And we that are saved were chosen because we are the foolish and the weak!

What, to me, makes the world condition worse, is the stubborn and arrogant teaching of outdated beliefs which assert life is death - or that is life is an anomaly.. you, young person will simply live a meaningless life and then you shall die and that will be it. And until then you must work hard almost every day of your life.. relationships will likely not last.. goodbye have fun.

Yes, I am being a drama queen, yet I'm fully convinced the ppl are sheep that are being deliberately fed hopelessness and despair and other things.. which I think is rather abusive!

I once read a bible tract whose title image impressed me. It was a five pointed star, like the old sheriff's star, and in the star it said, "You have the right to know the truth". People, who were btw, created by God, have a right to hear the truth. And truth sets free. (Death, actually, is the anomaly!)

Believers are stewards (and guardians?) of Truth. The foundation (1 Cor. 1(?) is Jesus.. Christ crucified". This is what each believer builds on.. some of this is (like) gold and silver.. and some is wood, straw, or even stubble. As we know gold and silver will survive refining fire.. but wood, etc. will not. But as we know, believers who suffer such loss (of their works) will not lose their life in Christ.. But the gold and silver puts forth truth which sets free.. and the fruits of it will show up "on day of resurrection".

So not only are the people not being indoctrinated into truth and happiness, but they are being imposed upon by darkness. So increase of hopelessness, despair, addiction, suicide.. is really not surprising. And of course except for the grace of God there go you or I. Whereas the people usually assume such an observation is a sort of accusation.. rather than empathy.. But that's fruit, I believe, of the ET gospel and image of God. [Which image, to be honest, sometimes ticks me off! Okay so God responded to living babies being sacrificed in literal fire.. or Egypt making Israel put their babies outside with lions or whatnot roaming around.. And yes He took action when every thought of man was "evil". And He imposed strict law of perfection :faint: upon one nation in preparation for Messiah. I say hooray, and thank you for all these — And although despots, butchers and predators will not literally burn in fiery wrath of God (unless they are unfortunate in war :doh: ) the fire which consumes all wood and stubble.. same fire each one of us has experienced, they shall experience (imo 1Cor. perfectly describing what the fire/lof is). And the greater the evil, surely the greater the heartfelt burn..

If UR addiction, war, etc. can't be said to be "tartarus" i'll eat my hat? Thankfully I don't wear hats? :laughing7:
