All believers seem to love the saying of the Lord, that He is the Alpha and Omega, but this is rarely followed through to it's logical conclusion. So many believe that all things were created through Him, and therefore assent to Him being the Alpha, and then proceed to argue that He can in no way be the Omega. And yet, this is the very plan of God - that all things might proceed forth from Him, being lowered into the darkness of futility, only to rise again and find their consummation in Jesus Christ. In every single way He is the Alpha, He is also the Omega in that same way.

So I suppose I would ask our ET brethren, "why do you not believe that Christ is the Omega?"

Whow, Shev, I love it!

Exactly! As I always say, we all go back home. Home to our loving God, who created us; died for us, and saved us.

And, God is Home. He always was, and always will be.

7"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8"For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened....

....and you know the way.  I am returning unto my Father and yours.  the way home is the cross/our passing over

into the etrnal promises...and the true promised land of heaven. leaving Egypt/and slavery unto Pharoah[the Prince of

this world]    the bitterness of the expierence of evil/slavery and the sweetness of the Lamb/BRANCH to heal us....

...so we pass-over into the promises by the blood of the Lamb..to bring us into ONENESS/UNION/AT-ONE-MENT[thought]

with our Father. the right hand[Jesus] and left hand/arm[Holy spirit] gather us unto the breast[bosom of God] as

we are all embraced upon returning home.RECONCILIATION.......the 'rich man" Pharoah/prince of this world whose

works[of the devil] are evil...will die the second death and not be able to pass over...he will perish in the red sea of

blood which was spilled....not able to drink His blood or partake of His flesh....for the little children were partakers

of flesh and blood...and He likewise partook.......

outside are the originators of lies[maketh of lies] murderer's etc...satan murdered all in Adam from his lie which

originated with him..and has been a mankiller from the beginning.  he wrested dominion from Adam by deception and

force[one act of worship...all these kingdoms are mine to give].......men who lived all their lives in bondage through

fear of death....[Hagaar/Egyptian in bondage/under law for lawless one]]  Jerusalem Above is free...the mother of us all

  child of promised seed.....

what you have or haven't done unto one of the least/last one of these...ye have done unto me.  thirsting for water

of life[not condemnation] naked[exposed sins/judging by appearance of flesh] covering with Christ's blood[love covers]

hungered[share your bread/grace freely given] etc.  Many are enemies of the gospel of goodnews unto ALL men..they

would take it by force.[not by might but by my spirit] they would force you into their prescribed religious works.....

they would deny peace to him far off with God..or that God wrought peace and good will unto all men through His son

on the cross.  The wrath of the Lamb has always been against the offspring of vipers that possess the religious

leaders..that heap up heavy loads impossible to bear...while not being willing to lift their little finger/thus Jesus the

Word of God/His right arm of salvation was lifted/raised up[Moses arm up victory in battle] the same religious leaders

that said Jesus was in league with the devil and cast out devils by thus.

so....red tape/salvation with strings attached/a watered down gospel of what was accomplished via the cross of Christ

has been pushed forward...instead of the scarlet thread[red-letter words of Christ] being elevated/lifted up. :2c:

Shev,,
I'm sorry but I do not understand this logical conclusion you have proposed. I'm a contemplative sort of individual but a rather slow one at that! Could you please develop your thought process for me?

I may be wrong, but what I believe he is speaking of is that "the beginning" (Alpha) and "the end" (Omega) are the same .....

which is just another way of saying ... we have our beginning in God and we have our end in God ..... if people believe that some will go to hell to be tormented forever, then they believe their end is not in God

Not speaking for Shev but my understanding is:

Christians acknowledge that through Christ, God  made all things (he is the alpha) but they don't acknowledge that through Christ, God will reconcile all things (he is the omega).

Thank you... I think I see the natural progression of thought now. Logic, although simple, in and of itself, can prove to be very elusive. Off to give this some time of reflection.

Hey Merks and all - sorry to get to this so late, as I was on vacation. Those that answered for me summarized it well. Jesus Christ is the beginning AND end, the first AND last, the Alpha AND Omega. All things are of Him (Alpha) through Him, and to Him (Omega).

How many times do we hear something and THEN it has an impact, it becomes engraved in us

I don't know how many times I have heard these words (without Alpha and Omega attached) and they were not fully understood .....

But now ..... understood and engraved ..... and as I was thinking about this I saw the tablets of Moses ..... words engraved in stone .... then saw the tomb in which The Word (Christ Jesus) was placed ..... He was IN-GRAVED ..... but the grave could not hold Him .....

The message of the cross is death of the flesh
The message of the tomb is resurrection of the spirit

Do we get that message when we see the tablets ..... not until we see the physical manifestation of it through Christ ..... in other words, not until that message is revealed IN us ..... in the empty tomb (heart) of which we WERE now to be a vessel to be filled with LIFE

:cloud9: As I shared somewhere on here before, I see it this way. As were one with Him from the foundation of the world (firstfruits) as the Alpha, so too will be one with Him in the end of the world (us), as the Head and the body are one, yet two, another firstfruits company, yet the same one that was before. Peace
