The "year of favor" quoted by Jesus from the book of Isaiah, is surely(?) like a Jubilee year, or like a great Jubilee.. with its proclamation of liberty which Jesus fulfilled by healing and freeing those afflicted with disease or oppressed by demons, by giving sight to the blind, and good news to the poor... and forgave sins. (Note: which no matter how wealthy, are ultimately, all humans.)

A Jubilee was always proclaimed on Day of Atonement. When and how God gets all names enrolled in the Book of Life, surely, will be an even greater day than any other Jubilee (proclamation of freedom) and surely, even greater than that experienced by so many during the Lord's first advent. [By end of the very first chapter, in the gospel account of Mark, so many ppl were crowding Jesus He could no longer go into the towns...]

So that the proclamation of liberty and the healing and freeing of those afflicted with disease or oppressed by demons, and by giving sight to the blind, good news to the poor... is but actually a forerunner, example, or microcosm of the GREAT Day when all things are in the process of being subdued and placed under the feet of Jesus - 1 Cor.15:22-28.

[Please.. no prophesying of dates!]
