Sodom restored

So I've heard Sodom will be restored as an argument for UR.  Then in my head I hear (coming from an ETer) its the city thats restored not the people.  The other night out of nowhere I heard Isreal being destroyed is a pattern for God restoring everyone.  So I've got a rough draft of a line of thought, would love some help fleshing it out.  Maybe everything doesn't quite fit but here goes.

A couple things:

Israel will be made ashamed because of her prostitution (whore of babylon?) Eze 16:61 Then you will remember your conduct, and be ashamed when you receive your older and younger sisters. I will give them to you as daughters, but not on account of my covenant with you. 16:62 I will establish my covenant with you, and then you will know that I am the Lord. 16:63 Then you will remember, be ashamed, and remain silent 44  when I make atonement for all you have done, 45  declares the sovereign Lord.'"
--- One of my rationalizations when I would give into temptation is God will always forgives.  I think a lot of christians think the great white throne is really for the non-christians ---

Eze 16:49-63
"'See here – this was the iniquity of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters had majesty, abundance of food, and enjoyed carefree ease, but they did not help the poor and needy.

Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be perfect, go sell your possessions and give the money 25  to the poor, and you will have treasure 26  in heaven. Then come, follow me." 19:22 But when the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he was very rich. 27 
19:23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, "I tell you the truth, 28  it will be hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven! 19:24 Again I say, 29  it is easier for a camel 30  to go through the eye of a needle 31  than for a rich person to enter into the kingdom of God."

Luke 11:39 But the Lord said to him, "Now you Pharisees clean 121  the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. 122  11:40 You fools! 123  Didn't the one who made the outside make the inside as well? 124  11:41 But give from your heart to those in need, 125  and 126  then everything will be clean for you.

Matt 25:41 "Then he will say 41  to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels! 25:42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink. 25:43 I was a stranger and you did not receive me as a guest, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.' 25:44 Then they too will answer, 42  'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not give you whatever you needed?' 25:45 Then he will answer them, 43  'I tell you the truth, 44  just as you did not do it for one of the least of these, you did not do it for me.' 25:46 And these will depart into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Jude 1:7 So also 33  Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighboring towns, 34  since they indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire 35  in a way similar to 36  these angels, 37  are now displayed as an example by suffering the punishment of eternal fire. 

So I'm trying to link Sodoms destruction with eternal punishment, with Jesus' words on eternal punishment.  Sodom is restored.  I just can't put it all into words in an orderly manner, and maybe missing something.  Maybe also something about "faith" without works as in the majority of christians, who have said the prayer but don't actually produce any fruit, ie feed the poor, aren't really "saved", because they don't actually have faith.(I'm not saying we are justified by works at all, I actually don't know what I'm saying).
