Should we repent?

Absolutely, we should.. from Mother Teresa to the worst cruel despot, etc. It?s part of the process, the initial conditions (which are INNER) of some during the GWT judgment day (aion) is portrayed in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, also in the outside of the vision narrative of Rev.22. A heartless despot surely should come to the point of heart and gut wrenching remorse. Surely?!
    Even the least sinful, least imperfect person has to repent, or think they are perfect? Without flaw? Which surely is a terrible sin! And the guilty conscience is a veRy tricky thing. I think the human conscience is what had/has to be appeased. NoT an angry god, lol.
Repenting is not for our heavenly Father?s benefit - though he is creating his own family with characters clear as crystal.

Repent: change our way of thinking.
Absolutely necessary.
Just a case of how that happens.
We can change our minds,  but to where?
The flesh goes for whatever is useful.
The flesh can imitate anything to great lengths.
Spiritual repentance is done by God.

If someone wants an abundant 'life', then repentence is the only 'Way'.  But Christ died for the sins of the world (God (good))/life was willing to suffer at the hands of d/evil/death to give us free will (freedom) to 'choose' how we live (in the Creator/Creation (of which we are co-creators))... So people can do what they want - they will answer for it to God (all creation). - Nothing is hidden from Him Whose eyes are all...  :laughing7:  It is in everyones' best interests to repent and all will (willingly), eventually repent, and the sooner the better for everyone, especially the sinner who is spoiling himself in his present (unrepentant) state.  By wisdom and spiritual maturity (and basic everyday common-sense); eventually all will come to intimate knowledge of the Son/'Child' of God (Child of love/truth/peace/happiness etc), forsaking the 'unprofitable' (sin) - coming to the 'revelation' that everything in comparison to knowing Christ is (a very strong word for): 'dung'.  (Eph. 4:11-16).

Amen.. And what a contrast! Life as we presently know it is, as compared to what God is creating.. His own family and an enduring/unbreakable paradise/perfection (surely?)  :Chinscratch: For me it has come down to the question - how do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings - thus they have at least some power of choice - aNd keep paradise perfection intact?
    Maybe God had two options for creation? A total ant farm? Or total herd (lol) immunity? From imperfection/straying from God who is Life, and - is perfect, Mt.5:48. Imperfection resulting in the exact opposite of Life - the wage/result of sin (hamartia - missing the mark) is death, Ro.3:23?
   History has already proven that imperfection is an abyss of potential. Thus the quote - the smoke of it will rise up forever, but where? Since there?s to be a total, universal (quote ) regeneration? - greek word - palin/again-genesis. So the smoke must rise forever in the memories and understanding of all.
