If it's one subject in scripture that confuses me it's the whole idea of the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. Revelations 20. I guess the whole story sounds fishy to me. It's the only time I question whole sections of scripture, which I never do. Something about it just doesn't fit. I can't get over it? Satan gets imprisoned, chained and thrown into a pit ,  everything in the Kingdom proceeds normally, all is peaceful, the Saints walk with Christ and God for one thousand years. Then Satan gets loosed. The first thing he does is deceive billions of saints, or they who's number is as the sands of the  seas. Let's just stop here, I got some questions.

Mickiel

First off where did Satan come from, how did he get within range of the kingdom? Secondly he gets bound for one thousand years in an eternity that has no time, but now a timeless eternity has "Years_?" Then we have powerful Saints , marks on their foreheads or in the their hands, lived and reigned with Christ for 1000 years, walked with God and Jesus 1000 years, and they get deceived. What! Marks on their foreheads, meaning their minds are sealed, consciousness are molded to God, now your telling me Satan deceives then? Satan could not even deceive the elect on earth who were in the flesh. It was not possible to deceive even them . Now you got 1000 year saints in the spirit, who's minds are sealed, who walked with God and Jesus in his kingdom for 1000 years, now they get deceived??? I don't get that man. Something smells about the that

Something very positive and confident needs to come from tragedy I think, and scripture is the word of God, so pray with me through this most perplexing thing. The book of Revelations used to always scare me, loose me, or confuse me. It was like the twilight zone , don't go in there you'll get lost. If I choose to study I would dodge Revelations

i take the positives from it..the evil kings o earth go into the New Jerusalem as do the wicked nations..the gates are always OPEN..the invitation goes out to those in the lake o fire..it speaks of Good overcoming evil
"I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance".Isaiah 45:23

I never took thought to that, the gates to the Kingdom are always open. That's a glory for sure. It's like, hey come on in, your welcome. I know Jesus did not like Pharisees who tried to shut up those doors.

Mickiel

You know how you throw the dice out just to see how they roll? Well some times I throw out a thought to see how it rolls off the brethren; I must say, it's as if these dice are untouchable?

Mickiel

If I could be a cheerleader for the brethren in the Kingdom who supposedly must face Satan after his 1000 year imprisonment and this thing is set free in Revelation 20:7 he immediately starts deceiving what could only be spiritual residents in the kingdom of God, unless he goes somewhere else that I am unaware of and assembles all these people who must be numbered in the billions if you interpret Rev.20:8 like I think it's interpreted. It says Satan gathers together a number of people who are as the sands of the sea. Now that easily can mean trillions of people, spirit beings, new 1000 year old converts. Now reverse back to earth, the end times , the called out church in the flesh with God's spirit, those saints are never deceived, but fast forward 1000 years into the future, here we now have spirit beings who have lived and walked with God and Christ for 1000 years, they get deceived and killed?

Ahhh hello!

Does anyonelse see something fishy? Or is it just me?

Mickiel

Whatever it is it's not my business or calling to question it any longer. I'd better be careful to not add or subtract from scripture. I let my consciousness go too far sometimes.

Sorry.

Mickiel

Just suffice it to say it's kind of weird, which I think we are allowed to say about scriptures that puzzle us. Not to change them or put them down or criticize the author, just to say they tickle my curiosity. What King James did in translations, what the Catholics did in concaves and what translations from one language to another has been curious. Tentmaker has a little to say about it of interest.

Interesting that there is the great white throne- unspecified how long this goes for- then there is the second death, the lake of fire.
So many people who have been raised, yet did not know about Christ, will have this second death process.
IMO those who have gone through the 1000 years and were born in this period and were NOT the ecclesia { first born} will also be included, otherwise they would not be in Christ.
Only after that process is death and Hades deleted/ throne into that lake of fire.

Then the New earth comes after all that stuff; so we are still talking about many years time.
