Christ = The First-Born of God
The Elect = The First-Born Company
The Non-Elect = The Latter-Born Company
The Children of God are Born in Three Orders. Christ ( 1st ) the First Born of God, the Elect ( 2nd ) the First-Born Company & the Non-Elect ( 3rd ) the Latter-Born Company. All the Children of God from the First-Born ( Christ & the Elect ) to the Latter-Born ( The Non-Elect ) are Born from Above by the Spirit of God the Father in Successive Order as Beloved Members of His Spiritual Family.
Christ = The Head of the New ( Corporate ) Man
The Elect = The Hands of the New ( Corporate ) Man
The Non-Elect = The Feet of the New ( Corporate ) Man
The New ( Corporate ) Man is Assembled in Three Orders. Christ ( 1st ) the Head, the Elect ( 2nd ) the Hands & the Non-Elect ( 3rd ) the Feet. The Entire Man is Assembled in these Three Orders until the Finished Product Resembles God from Head to Toe bearing His Image and Likeness. Once this Entire Man is Assembled from Head to Toe God is then Revealed to be All in All Indwelling this New ( Corporate ) Man with His Spirit of Truth & Holiness, Righteousness & Love.
Christ = The First of the First Fruits
The Elect = The First Fruits of the Harvest
The Non-Elect = The Remaining Crops of the Field
The Crops of the Field ( Humankind ) are Harvested in Three Orders. Christ ( 1st ) the First Fruit, the Elect ( 2nd ) the First Fruits & the Non-Elect ( 3rd ) the Remaining Crops of the Field. The Entire Field is Harvested in these Three Orders and on God's Harvest Schedule. The First Fruits are the First to Ripen and consist of a Small Number of Crops ( Christ & the Elect ). The Remaining Crops of the Field are the Last to Ripen and consist of a Large Number of Crops ( The Non-Elect ). All the Crops of the Field ( Humankind ) are Harvested into God's Barn ( The Kingdom ) in Due Season.
Yep the the references to harvests amd wheat so often mentioned in the Bible.
Question: Will the feet stay feet for all eternity? Or can they learn and promote?

I believe they remain the Feet of the New ( Corporate ) Man of which Christ is Head. Not a Bad Thing IMO.

Seriously, I think it's not really bad but the way I read it, it's not the best either. ?

Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach,
except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Luk 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would
send forth labourers into his harvest.

How so? In my understanding the Head, Body and Feet represent the Complete Man of God.

Scroll down the page for the feet of fine brass!
Likely it's my carnal thinking but I would prefer to be a more important part
It's all the same body WW.
For where would the Body go without Its Feet?
A lame Son the Lord would have without His Feet.
And a polished, tried and true foot indeed that followed the narrow Path.

the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and
the head of Christ [is] God. God is in control always in control :icon_flower:

Yes. The Feet are as Important as the Head because they are an Essential Part of the New Man God is Creating in His Image and Likeness. Can't Walk in Obedience to God without Spiritual Feet.
This discussion is so painfully and obviously culturally American!!! Not trying to bash here, but hoping maybe someone else sees it as well. IMO it's the equivalent of making sure that every kid on my 6th grade boys basketball team gets a trophy at the end of the season. Don't get me wrong, everyone makes the team in the end, but not everyone will get to play the same amount of time, have as good a numbers, or make glaringly obvious significant contributions to the effort.
1 Cor 12:12ff makes it clear that each part is important in the sense of necessary. However, it also makes clear that different parts are by nature more presentable or more honorable and that God will make up the difference in his upside down kingdom. 1 Cor 15:41 seems to me to indicate there will be a difference. And how can you read all that there is about reward, or about authority in Revelation, without a recognition that there will be different levels of authority and reward? We will all be his children and fully loved by him but that does not mean there will be egalitarianism. Of course, those in authority will be the servants though, right?
We don't know how it will all work, but I want to do whatever I can in this life to please him and hopefully earn or merit or be found worthy somehow of a place as close to the throne as possible. And part of that is loving the hell (literally) out of my fellow man.

***IMO That's where you are going wrong**** [edit] because of what Jesus did I sit on the throne already, with complete autority.
(Authority doesn't mean magical powers)
No matter what you do you can't please God, or found worthy, but know this, Because of what Jesus HAS done you please God in all ways already.
I'm not meaning to hijack the thread, though it seems this is related.
I don't even really know where to start to respond. I believe understanding that we are all God's children saved by grace is the essential foundation so I can, in part, affirm what is being said.
You could say that I love all of my biological children equally. However, they do have free will and their choices do impact the extent to which I can develop and enjoy an intimate relationship with them.
I also believe the passages which tell me that I can please God. Perhaps it's too anthropomorphic (I personally don't believe it is) but I know there are things my kids do that can please me.
I don't believe God's grace results in egalitarianism except in terms such as that we all become children and heirs.
To look at it from a different angle, God disciplines those he loves and just because his discipline is loving doesn't mean I want to experience it. I'd rather he didn't have much of a reason to discipline me.
Or again, I believe the Biblical passages that talk about reward and punishment (in the instructive, merciful sense).

Where do you see a passage that says this?
(Rom. 8:8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Hey Jabcat thanks for touching/editing my post, I mean if freedom to express my religous beliefs offends you than I guess coming to a site that promotes acceptance was a wrong idea I guess.

"....You, however, are controlled not by the flesh but by the Spirit" (Rom 8:9) so voila, the inference is if you live by the Spirit you can please God.
I did this study years ago and I think it is based on the NIV use of the word please, don't think I delved into the Greek behind it.
