The more I read about Universalism/Inclusion/Universal Reconciliation/Universal Restoration (whatever you want to call it) the more I know it is what I believe. Everywhere I read it is about how God saves us ALL, how God loves us ALL, and how God punished us through Adam and then reconcilled us through Jesus and Calvary Cross.
This is all fantastic and feel good stuff and it fits right into my core beliefs.
I would like your thoughts on the suffering that we go through as humans through natural events. Obviously we suffer at the hands of other human beings and we cant control that as we all have free will. I am more focussing on events like tsunamis, earthquakes and even closer to home bush fires. What impact does God have on the world?
My train of though thinks back to Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden which was perfect. Through their sin (as the story goes) we humans were banished to being dust (like we came into the world from) instead of living forever and also enduring pain (child bearing). When Jesus reconciled us with God why do we still suffer the way we do?
Through everything I read now it emphasises how much God loves us ALL but this is something that has been on my mind alot lately. I really feel like I am growing spiritually with Universalism/Inclusion/Universal Reconcilliation/Universal Restoration. :)
I believe it is because we're living inbetween, we know salvation is now but yet we are still yearning for it because it is yet to come.
