Oh how sad

I have been in much thought this morning and after having read the God Is Love article and read a few posts here about those who still believe in hell.

it saddens me to think how many people still believe this horrible doctrine. To not realize or know the true Love of God. I was in a Baptist church for some years and it was absolutely terrible. My wife and I had nothing but misery and always thinking that God was  out to punish us if we did not go by the man made rules that the church had put on us. We were taught that we could lose our salvation if we stepped out of line one time. We always saw God as angry.

I was shown the truth of UR a few years ago and am so thankful to God for opening my eyes to this wonderful truth. I was doing some research on the Catholic church for a friend of mine and I clicked on a site and this banner came up and it said "God's hell does not exist". I then clicked on that and it took me to the Bible Truths site started by L. Ray Smith and I started reading and it was almost to hard to believe. it felt as if a ton of bricks had been lifted off of me and this peace came over me that I shall never forget.

I did get discouraged for a few years but thank God He never gave up on me. I knew of this Tentmaker site through BT and have just recently come back to read more of the articles here at the Tentmaker and what a blessing it has been thus far.

I pray that those in torment and false teaching will come to really know God and His Love for all. I feel this sadness I feel for them will remain until that is accomplished . I hope that is a good thing.

Take solace in the fact that all of this darkness/blindness was and is in the plan and will of God. EVERYTHING is for a purpose, and in the end we will fall down in worship at the realization of His glorious plan for the ages. No sin or agony will compare to the glory that will soon be revealed by our loving and awesome Father. The sin and darkness is necessary, just like labour pains must come when a baby is about to be born, with much pressure and agony. But once the child has made it's appearance the pain is instantly forgotten and is replaced with joy.  :HeartThrob:
