Near Death experiences

I've been reading about these lately and most seem to support UR. I know some just believe that they're just chemical reactions but often these people know things that would be impossible to know. Like one person who "died" awoke to tell of her experience. She also mentioned that there was a red(or some color) shoe on the roof of the hospital.

Later, that shoe was found up there.

I read these and most people who come back feel that when they meet "The Being of Light" they feel ultimate love, acceptance and forgiveness. Most don't want to return. I just thought it was interesting. Most do not report the things that mainstream churches teach will happen when we die.

Maybe even science will eventually come to open up to the possibility.

A good book I read was "The Eternal Journey" by Craig R. Lundahl PH.D and Harold A. Widdison. They did a lot of research on these things. From what I remember of the book only 1 experience they commented on contradicted UR. It was a suicide and they were told that unless they went back and undid the damage they had done to their lives they're eternal state would be simply existing in pitch black with their thoughts.

Now of course this may have been simply to scare them or something but most of the reports were very familiar. A being of light who radiated love, a life review and the feeling that the being of light forgave them. Their "punishment" was the shame they felt for their sins being exposed in front of the "Light being".

Some were a little far fetched but it was a good book.

Huh? 2? I beg to differ. I've read hundreds upon hundreds, there is a common theme repeated over and over....Life Review....Being of Love/Light (Christ)...and those in a not too pleasant state of mind , are well, like a child sent to his/her room for timeout for bad behavior. It doesn't last. Read more NDE's if you dont believe me, they confirm UR beyond a shadow of a doubt.

And you will get a few exceptions to the rule, ironically, they usually come from traditional orthodox 'christian'views from people who believe in ET.

My study of NDE's led me to UR. Yeah baby.

:cloud9: I don't agree with the "eternal" part, but the rest lines up with what He's shown me, ie. we are reproved with OUR OWN wickedness = what the carnal mind was allowed to birth into being. Blessings....

It's just that I personally only found NDEs with flames, tortuture, demons and other ET stuff

I don't agree with it either, I was just saying what they recorded. But maybe God was putting the fear of Hell in him to make a change. I don't know. It didn't really go into too many details about specific NDE's. It was mostly a general study.
