before I was enlightened by the Glorious Truth of Universal Reconciliation much of my motivation to live the Christian life was based on 'fear'.....fear of God, His wrath, Eternal Hell etc.Now that I know the depths of God's love for myself and ALL others my motivation is based on, dare I say it, love. Also, now I know just how sweet Jesus is I don't want to hurt Him by purposely committing sin. I look at other people differently too. Rather than see 'unsaved' people as bound for eternal hell (and, in effect, basically despised by an angry God ) I realize that Jesus truly loves them even if they are rebelling for the moment. And this has increased my love for others. What a change from how I used to be !. Anybody else been changed like this by Universal Reconciliation ?.
Pretty good summary.
Perfect love casts out ALL fear is a reality, not a possibility.
Being aware of the truth makes everything make sense.
Great summary Darryl !!! :iagree:
I too felt the change from a slave to sonship in UR .
Family whom loves and serves because they love , not serves because they fear .
Romans 8 was not just a written Word but heard the Spirit saying LIVE ..
in the glorious freedom of the sons of God !!
Even if it is just having the mind of Christ for now there is a freedom in the Holy Spirit speaking to our inner man of the heart .
:dsunny: Amen.. to all!
The proof - besides the first proof, the scripture - is the fruit! Jesus said we know something by its fruit! :cloud9:
Truth sets free.. (amen!) Also to have the real gospel, John wrote, is to have the Father and the Son.. the distorted gospel causes literal fear of the Father of us  and dislike, even hatred! I think of those distortions adopted from pagan faith/idols, actually, as causing the hatred the world has, and is, falling under.. For atheism.. For the ones of atheism who literally despise God, or what is said to be God! "wHY DO THE NATIONS RAGE?" oops, caps.. Rage, I think of as a blend of anger/rage and confusion/madness.
Sure is good to know God wins all. --- "Kolasis" - "correction on 'day' of judgment" 2 Pet.2:9. He "is perfect" (Mt.5:48). So is there any one He cannot "correct"?
"For God knows how to preserve the unjust/unsaved for correction/kolasis on day of judgment" 2 Pet.2:9 :cloud9:
He is very orderly (it seems to me). (The 5th seal, of Rev.6 being like the blood of Abel.. logos-logic?)

yes, agreed...He can correct anybody....He doesn't create anybody He cannot correct
Amen Darryl! Jesus said He "is perfect". Perfect never, ever, "misses the mark"! I imagine "perfect" means He does all just the way He does and has, in order to bring about the best. Perfect makes no mistakes. Surely cannot lose any thing. As to lose one thing is not "perfect". I also figure the 'end' result of all this - history, the wandering/wrong way running its course, can only be the best one possible. I think of that as logic - besides biblical - which the root word of, is logos. :gsmile:
John wrote if we have the genuine gospel we will have both the Father and Son. How would one really ever hope to have perfect love of Him, if our loved ones are being burned alive (or perish) forever. (The whole idea of that is totally ridiculous and very lacking in logic.
God's love is perfect: we are perfect in Christ.
That position is fixed/secure.
We grow in wisdom and knowledge continually- so we cannot boast in ourselves but only in Christ.
