QuoteSo, Why so sad everyone???

Is there no faith in the land?

Because sometimes the lights in the city on a hill can go pretty dim from death or apathy.

Nothing worse than having all the lights go out.

Matthew 5:14
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Beloved Servant

The lights are getting brighter for those who have eyes to see, not more dim.
Jackson was but a man, no more no less. He has gone on.
The Sons of God, however, are now to deliver creation from all ties that bind.

:cloud9: Amen, Beloved Servant........and the day is approaching FAST. Blessings....
"I would rather train twenty men to pray, than a thousand to preach; A minister's highest mission ought to be to teach his people to pray." -H. MacGregor

Beloved Servant

FAST is not FAST enough Card.
We rot in this un-regenerated flesh.
Come quickly Lord Jesus!

One good alternative source for news that reports these kinds of things is Common Dreams:
http://www.commondreams.org

And I hear a lot of things on the Air America podcasts http://www.airamerica.com
that are ignored by the corporate owned (main stream) news.
You see when you are owned by huge corporations  as are the majority of news outlets these days, there are things
that they simply will not report because of who is buttering their bread.

I used to stay angry about all the horrible crap going on - but it never changed anything.  So instead, I've learned to
just stay informed and trust God to do what is right because humans are flawed and will always disappoint.  I do
sometimes wonder if some of the really wicked men who have ordered torture of people will ever just be struck by
lightning or something worse before the eyes of everyone.   Why is there no justice?  And why is there so much
cruelty?  I will never understand it.

So--go for it.  Start a thread!
Hi Molly,
I've started several threads on "stuff we should know" but they've all been wiped out by the current admin

as far as McKinney goes, that is the image I'd like to see of "the great America"...walk the talk
she has just through her actions shown how morally deprived the Israelis are and anyone who supports them...as far as "stuff to know" goes, there are now 25 IDF soldiers who are testifying against their army's conduct in the last Gaza war...or shall we be honest with ourselves and call it genocide?

Anne,
God gave the earth to us (mankind) as dominion to justly take care of his Creation, we cannot just sit back and say God will sort all this crap out...each one of us must do what we can where we can...Cynthia McKinney and the "free gaza" movement is a prime example of this...she's not afraid to stand up to tyranny and to right the wrongs done by her own people

I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

Yes, exactly.  That is the city on a hill.  A light that cannot be hid.  Lifted up like Christ, an innocent man, on a cross, convicting those who see it.

Luke 23:47
Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

Well, that's something I didn't know.  Michael Jackson had Synesthesia:

Hadn't listened to any of his stuff since the early 80s, unless some stuff he did with Paul McCartney was later.  Had I known he was a Synesthete, I'd of paid more attention over the years.

hmm...sounds like I have the number form synesthesia. Ive always wondered why numbers popped in my head like that haha

I wonder what form micheal jackson had...i cant find any articles on it

In the video the guy who worked with Michael said that music and sounds had colors and shapes to him. I assumed Martin picked up on that as a form of synesthesia.

I have "just now" listened for the "first time" the song called EARTH
SONG.........I noticed there were many variations of it, some you
could understand the words and some not.

But the reason I went to it was because I heard his "daddy" say
on t. v. the other night "that the EARTH SONG was his favorite."

I wonder if we could not pray for the elder Mr. Jackson.

Thank you.
