There is a great deal of arrogance incorporated into the judgment of another human being. Now, we are being asked to judge another human being we have never meant. Judgment is for God alone. We are called to love. I think the better question would be why you feel the need to put people in boxes...these people are ok...going to heaven....these people bad...hell for all eternity. What gives you the right...or any person the right to judge another man's heart?
I'm glad God will deal with Kahane, and a lot of other people, and not me. I don't think I would be as kind as God. I remember a poem my Jewish creative writing teacher presented my class with:
if you see a blind man, kick him
why should you be kinder than God?
