I believe so.  That's what Charles Slagle has assured me of time and time again from his conversations with Anglican clergy, that though they favor annihilationalism now, universalism isn't regarded as heresy and they've got a lot of UR ministers.  If you're interested, I believe that I can give you an email address of an Anglican minister that Charlie's wanted me to get chatty with "forever," but the Holy Spirit just never has indicated to me that the time was right for my speaking with him.  I can PM you the email address if you're interested.  I'm just shy about posting it directly on the boards because of how hard the spam bots have been chasing us.  I don't want to unleash the internet hoards of hell on him. :laughing7:

Only a little improvement, unfortunately the idea that hell is for the redemption and purification of the sinners is still out of the radar of most churches.

I know.  I guess they'll have to depend on the Blood of Christ in the meantime (Ephesians 2:13; Colossians 1:20).

So hell is not just leacing the bible forever, it's leaving the church forever.

I believe the Catholics have officially made some sort of statement to this effect as well.

I can't seem to find the official statement (not that I've gotten out the fine tooth comb) but did I come across this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3odPpDTRjOc

The thing I can't quite figure out; is MacArthur speaking against Universalism, or unwittingly for it. Because I find myself smiling and nodding at what he's saying, when I get the idea he wants me to be gasping and shaking my head. :laughing7:

Martin, it's about time you finally put up an actual photo of yourself.
