Question: If you were able to bring 4 children into this world and each of them could bring 4 children into this world - would you do it if you were convinced that all 20 of them would burn in hell for all eternity? (We are assuming you are saved thus the even way below ratio of less than 85%
when actually 95% are statistically "lost")
Wouldn't it be cruel and selfish of you to bring children and grandchildren into this world knowing they will most likely be tortured for all eternity?
Do you think God intentionally brings children into this world knowing that He won't "choose them" during this lifetime and therefore will be torturing them after they die?
Just curious, I don't have kids myself so I don't know that my answer is valid.
Hi Bro Ded,
I am fixing to have my first grandbaby Sept 7th God willing
from my only daughter whom I was told may not live to be 3 , but she is a living miracle of Gods work in and though us , I give HighPraise to God to be a witness to His glory in our earth
as far as burning goes
we are to be on fire for God , and many fiery trials season us all
I just think many have a different perspective /eys spiritual of understanding what this all means
Just as many walked away offended when Jesus told them to eat His Body and drink His blood that they may have life in them , they saw this as a mad man speaking
But we with spiritual eyes /being healed by Jesus Himself , know exactly what Jesus means
By His Word and Spirit we have His Life dwelling in us
So I dont think many can understand exactly what burning in a fire for all eternity means , its hard to fathom this with a carnal mind , it does take the mind of Christ to find comfort in that all will be well when the Lord Comes to save His own
1Cr 6:19 What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which you have of God, and ye are not your own?
I suppose, Ded, no more cruel than it would be for God to "create all" knowing so very very many would be tortured for ever and ever (even millions who never heard the good news) with no hope ever of reprieve (to use 'their' language). Even for age and age, actually, if it we were to believe the LOF is a torture place).. Also the LOF was created for the devil and his angels.. doesn't even say created for mankind.. And His will is supreme..
The whole thing is so illogical.. totally defies all logic.. that it's surprising anyone ever fell for it! Though not surprising when we see all the false roads mankind has and does go down!! But it belongs to those old fear religions, based on "surely you won't die" and upon fear, where horrible sacrifices were made to insure the rains, or sun back from solstice, etc.. but God said, ultimately only One sacrifice ever needed for LIFE..

That's awesome Rosered! :gsmile:
I guess I was trying to say in a different way. Jesus said, "Even pagans know how to give good gifts when asked by their child. How much more you.."
In other words, if pagans wouldn't bring a child into the world being certain beyond any doubt that the child would be tortured for all eternity, why do they expect that God will?...and worse - do the torturing himself!!
My ET wife keeps insisting that God is not torturing them, he only created the torture chamber and people willingly go into it by rejecting God.
My argument that since the "power of Jesus" sustains EVERYTHING, then, by keeping the torture place in existence he is at least indirectly responsible. No one can keep from sinning and God chooses to select only a few while they live on the earth.
Thank ya sista Marie :girlheart:
Dear Bro Ded ,
I understand what your saying now  sorry about that
your ET wife does not understand the power of God maybe ,
I just remember that , Peter was given to know that Jesus Christ was the son of God by the grace and measure of faith by the Father Himself , no man can give you that
choices in everyday living in the world are small in comparison , to the wonderful plan of God though all the ages
man cannot make on hair on their head black or white
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
1Cr 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
these almost say the same thing its the Father and Holy Spirit whom say Jesus is Lord and Son of the Living God , this is the Holy Work of salvation , no man can do to change themselves or another in my humble opinion Bro D
"man cannot make on hair on their head black or white"
I don't care what color of hair, I'd just like some on my head. :laughing7:

Ha ha !!
Elijah was bald I believe according to this scripture 2Ki 2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
Lev 13:40 And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he [is] bald; [yet is] he clean. :friendstu:

Such a scenario makes of God at least in part impotent.. not all powerful.. that to me would make Him not God...! "No one can keep from sinning" can keep from being imperfect, as we were born imperfect, inherited from the 1st parents.. (and if He hadn't endowed thinking ability sin/imperfection would not be an option, so again indirectly responsible; so He built the rescue in from the foundation of the world / from the beginning)

Excellent point!
Hell is an unpleasant thought, so most people never really think about it.
Further, most people never really study the scriptures.
They rely on a Sunday school teacher or their pastor to teach them.
So ET's beget ET's.
