Someone asked, "How do we know that Jesus loved us and called us by name?"
How would you answer? Some people hear the message of UR and though it is great everyone else is saved, they still feel a missing link, where they are unsure they are called by name.

The very fact they ask the question means they haven't yet been blessed with the best possible answer, which is the individual call from Christ which I guess many or most of us receive when we pray.
So as well as suggesting they pray and humbly ask to hear Christ's call, we can point them to scripture.
John 3:16 has to be worth a mention,

Mat 8:11 "many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven"
This was when Christ was saying His message is for all of mankind, not just a few.
If mat 8:12 gets mentioned that could be an interesting discussion. The correct interpretation of that passage i think that even those us who belief will not escape having those parts of our natures that remain sinful cast away.
But even that is good news – its about getting rid of baggage that in the long run we are best of without. And it a good reason for us to resist the temptation to feel superior to unbelievers.
Im probably missing a better scripture, im sure all will be revealed in time.
