have you ever considered that it is
"the deeds" (works) that He will love no more?

If you read the entire section, you will note this part, that I have underlined.
It appears that perhaps, whoever is speaking, is not God, as the speaker references by saying, "My God will reject them....." Not sure who is exactly speaking in the first person, but, according to grammar, this is not God speaking.

But later he prophecies this in chapter 17 -
"How can I give you up, Ephraim?
How can I hand you over, Israel?
How can I make you like Admah?
How can I set you like Zeboiim?
My heart churns within Me;
My sympathy is stirred.
9 I will not execute the fierceness of My anger;
I will not again destroy Ephraim.
For I am God, and not man,
The Holy One in your midst;
And I will not come with terror.
10 "They shall walk after the Lord.
He will roar like a lion.
When He roars,
Then His sons shall come trembling from the west;
11 They shall come trembling like a bird from Egypt,
Like a dove from the land of Assyria.
And I will let them dwell in their houses,"
Which of course occurred.. then they were scattered again, as we know, but again verse 11 has and is occurring.
Also I've always thought Israel is a microcosm of all... disobedience/confusion, so wandering.. then gathered back to Him.. :cloud9:
Then there's what Paul wrote in Romans 11 -
25 For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written..

strange as this all is , God spoke by the Holy Spirit out of the mouth of prophets beholding the glory of God by Jesus Christ even then ... the Word of GOD in flesh .
