I am still somewhat sceptical of UR, I mean I am not sure if it is the truth. But I'd love it to be.
You see, our Saviour died such a horrible death on that cross. It is something only the very cynical and indifferent can pass by.
Jesus is a God of love, so I see His cross as a symbol of love. Shouldn't a dying God effect much more than the salvation of just a few? Isn't this Cross such a huge thing that should save an entire universe with everything in it? Remember, a God died there. The only true Son of God!
The 1st Adam had the power to plunge everyone into death.
But the 2nd Adam is unable to reverse it?
I agree with you that's unlikely.
i think that many people are like the jews were in the past. they did not want to believe that the good news is for the gentiles also. so it is like for many of the modern churchianity teachers, christ did not come for all but only for the few. we as humans want justice, and what better justice that burning forever. but thank God that his ways are not ours, the justice we deserve was laid on jesus. and now we know that all will eventually come to know him.
