If 3/4s of humanity will be lost that sounds like quite a sting to me!
I know.. someone would argue - but that means in us, death has no sting ..That is a little narrow though isn?t it? Kind of like it?s all about me?
Nope, it has to be SO much BIGGER than that! :dsunny:

That would be quite a sting , so many humans being tormented or even killed forever. One of the biggest , and still growing , attractions to me years ago that riveted my attention to universal salvation was learning that all will be saved . That is such a large truth. The bigger my vision became, the larger God grew in my eyes. His grace grew bigger so I had to think bigger . That made so much in scripture grow for me, his love grew, because it was far bigger than I ever knew. His grace grew as it stretched my newly learning eyes. I had to see the pure joy and mercy of God so much bigger. Everything was getting bigger, my eyes started poping out of my head. The ways and means of God was too big for just one special group, it had to be something for an entire world population. That helped me stop looking for a God who's message fit into humanity, but humanity fit into it. As the truth grew in my eyes , then life had to grow. And that is so true, death could no longer be the sting I was taught all my youth, salvation had no room for stinging that many people.
You know that is a true surgery, to remove the stinger from death. And a reflection of a very loving God to give life to all. Now I was on to something worth studying. A life changing direction. God is truly amazing.

I agree there is no sting and I loved the way you put what I highlighted, awesome
Yes to me, I mean the way I understand it, the message of universal salvation is kinda like a total eclipse. Whew man I like that about God, he leaves no one out. I always thought that was the only way I could make it. The way I was thinking was just a total train wreck. I needed that grace from God. Sin was worse than I had thought. The stain it has on just the consciousness is a quilt that none but Christ could erase.the more I understood about true grace the better I felt. The safer I felt against that stain that religion had built in my mind. I knew I would not have made it, not with stain sin has a way of trying to imprint doom on you. Oh no man I wouldn't have made it.
Only the grace of God could have rehabilitated me. Sin reminds me of those fires burning and destroying everything in it's path. I mean I understood as best I could, but religion was relentless , the stain it left was worse than it's cure.
You know I hope the zeal I used to have for the knowledge of universal life has not taken a big sting out of my motivation for salvation. I hope my embrace of this truth has not been stung too deeply , talking about things taking a sting. I used to look for places to tell this truth be, just share it with anybody, now I get paranoid if I think I'm talking about it to much. Sometimes i just feel like talking about it, but it's no one to talk to about it. Talk about getting stung, it's like knowing where the greatest treasure is, and weary of telling others it's right there. My heart has been stung, I have held this great treasure and nobody cares about this kind of treasure anymore. Now that's a great sting. It's Iike being muzzled for so long. This just should not be. I peep at the few places that used to be hot beds for real salvation discussion , and it's like shrinking crowds. I don't know, maybe it's just me. Been stung too much. I really miss walking into deep salvation discussion.
I spend my days.. most days, putting out His Truth online.. Mostly in facebook groups.. as there are tons of groups. It?s easy to scroll past and dismiss any ?violent? or insulting responses.. Plus it?s great for my own remembering of verses, etc.. After you write them or about them a few times. :gsmile:
A good way to spend some time. A nice way to serve.

I'm so happy you are...I need to do more....the ETC movement seem to be growing....great UR websites like Evangelical Universalist closing down through lack of funds/ support....please keep up the good work spreading the Truth of Universal Reconciliation !...God Bless !
When the Bible spoke of there being a lack of truth in the world, it was not kidding. It just rolls off of people like water on a ducks back.

That in itself is a truth. If I could find someone to listen, I know for a fact I would be talking for hours.
Blessings

I surely would too. I could not hold my peace.
