There's a teaching (in the mangle of today's confusion) called "Israel Only" - do they think gentiles have no part in redemption? Maybe that's not the belief..? It's pretty extreme..

Of course the Lord did say He had come only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And have you noticed when a couple of disciples said there were some Greek persons who had requested to come and see him, he said .."now My hour has come.."

And what does that tell us? Gentiles were at the door.. wanting to come in.. Of course He could see the great swelling crowd which would be firstfruits "a multitude too large to count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue".

But what an image of God one truly believing the ET gospel has! (If Israel Only means no gentile persons can be saved.. wow. That would be even more unbelievable as to craven, bottomless pit kind of idea. And of course ET (ETC) is bad enough! Imperfection (opposite of God/Life/Perfection) as potential is a bottomless black abyss. And the theory of ET is from those depths.

BUT! just think how convinced of God's goodness one who severely believed in it, will end up with. Those worst lies we believe or cleave to, are the very things that most pierce our heart with the Truth. They convince us the most! Our heavenly Father is SO wise (putting the visible option of disobedience/imperfection in the original garden of life.. And engineering things just so.. "He has subjected all to disobedience that He may have mercy upon all"..

Romans 15:8-9 says - For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God's truth, to confirm the promises made to the fathers, and so the Gentiles may glorify God for His mercy. As it is written: "Therefore I will praise You among the Gentiles; I will sing hymns to Your name."  (Verse 10 - Again, it says: "Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people"...)

ET doctrine is from deepest darkness (tartarus)! Meaning if it were true ( :LH: ) it would certainly be from the deepest recesses of darkness. ('You' likely realized this long ago! But I'm a little shocked. :gsmile: )

As I understand, Israel Only believes the cross was only for the Jews, and that the gentiles just get a free pass somehow, maybe because they were "grafted in"...with nothing to do with the cross.  Also, many of them believe there's no sin to gentiles since "there's no law", and also now no sin to Jews since the cross and "annulment of the law"..it goes on and on with strangeness, IMO.
